Do Pets Benefit from Specialization?

Here's my question: I run a carrier. If I choose 'Violent Detonation', for example, does this also benefit my pets' torpedoes as well? Or is this benefit solely for my ship and mine alone?

To my knowledge... unless it is a Starship Trait... our buffs do not effect out pets.

I could be wrong, ut that is how I currently understand it.

Generally almost nothing affects pets unless something says it specifically does.

Debuffs on enemies usually help you pet, pets specific abilities help your pet, and a handful of other abilities like transfer shield strength can target you pets.

Of special note the starship trait Reactive Repair Nanites makes everything you hull heal benifit your pets too.
