We will be bringing down the Tribble server for maintenance to apply a new update: ST.60.20160207a.13.
General:
- Skill Revamp:
- Resolved an issue with several abilities that were improperly scaling with Exotic Particle Generators: Tractor Beam, Subspace Rupture, Destabilizing Resonance Beam, just to name a few.
- Resolved a discrepancy that existed in distance calculations used for Weapon Damage Drop-Off, as it applies to ships with different sizes of capsules.
- Resolved an issue that was allowing some Ground Captain Abilities to benefit from Kit Readiness skill.
- Resolved an issue that was allowing a few Kit Modules, such as Chroniton Jolt, to get too much benefit more from Kit Readiness
- Resolved an isue that was preventing Scramble Sensors from properly scaling up with Control Expertise.
- Viral Matrix and Tyken's Rift now correctly trigger Drain Infection.
- Gravity Well now correctly triggers Control Amplification.
- The maximum number of Space Skill Points is now set to 46 as originally intended, instead of stopping at 45.
- Shield Mastery now has a 20 second internal cooldown, as intended.
- The 20-point Engineering Unlock no longer auto-selects Damage Resistance
- Resolvd an issue that was allowing Probability Penetration to apply with every Critical Hit, even when Probability Manipulation was not active.
- All three Ultimate Abilities now have a 2 minute Recharge Time.
- The position of the first two Science Unlock Choices have traded places:
- At 5 Points = Sector Space Travel Speed vs. Transwarp Cooldowns
- At10 Points = Starship Perception vs. Control Resistance
Known Issues:
- The Skill System Revamp is still a work in progress:
- Shuttles and other Small Craft do not get the correct benefit from Hull Capacity and Shield Capacity skills.
- The benefit players appear to get from Impulse Expertise does not match the Skill’s description.
- Distance calculations, as they pertain to Weapon Damage Drop-off, are inconsistently applied for ships with differing capsule sizes.
- Not all Hangar Pets benefit equally from Coordination skills.
- There may be lingering mentions of “Crew” on reward packs and other items.
- All Foundry functions have been shut off temporarily.
- Character transfer to Tribble has been shut off temporarily.
- Players will not have access to their captains already transferred to Tribble temporarily.

Real join date: March 2012 / PvP Veteran since May 2012 (Ground and Space)
So there is an intentional "nerf" to ground captain abilities as they were affected in the old system. That will take some getting used to.

+1 to this - Major bug that needs to get fixed before this goes live. Also, energy siphon is not scaling as in Holodeck drain wise and that isn't dependent on Aux power.
What the heck is "Drain Infection"?
I think that is one of the new skill nodes. It causes drains to deal damage.
You can wait till Thursday (or Friday or whenever) when they re-enable copied tunes.
HOWEVER, I do think on tribble.. we should get access to all ships.. since it is a test server.
but the real question is if they do have a npc giving out ships on tribble where are is said npc located found a skill point npc flyin around in the delta quad dyson sphere
It needs to be reviewed in more detail before taking action. Specifically, I'm waiting until folks are able to copy their existing characters over to Tribble and get more feedback on this subject, before deciding on a course of action.

And "capsule size" bug is both in resolved and "known issues" section...
Can that please just go? I don't mean to be offensive, but anything at all that buffs stuff in Sector Space is just silly. Unless you're planning to remove Pay2Transwarp and make the galaxy a place where we actually do things?

Popup information says 1 space point per level. 1 ground point per 5 levels.
That seems to indicate we should be getting 50 space and 10 ground when all is said and done, not 46 and 10.
