Why Can't the Krenim Science Vessel use Krenim Consoles?

This has been bugging me to no end since I got the Krenim Science Vessel and as of yet there has been no word on whether it is intentional or not.

As of right now, the Krenim Science Vessel is unable to equip the Timeline Analysis Sensor Grid (from the Krenim Imperium Warship) and the Temporal Shielding Matrix (from the Zahl Heavy Cruiser). Both of these consoles state in their descriptions that they are usable on "any Krenim, Zahl, or Nihydron Starship", and I'm pretty sure the KRENIM Science Vessel counts as one.

So, is this working as intended (I sincerely hope not), or is this just a bug/oversight in need of a fix?

    Oh, that is easily explained, it should be obvious to anyone... Wait, what's that? A pink elephant over there. *runs off as everyone else is looking in the opposite direction*

    Still nothing...I've got the Krenim consoles sat in my inventory, waiting to slot them, but the ship still won't take them. And that's been...what, three updates since this first started showing up as a problem?

    is bugged only that is the answer and besides you check in the consoles properties sa you can added that consoles to that ship???

    ANY Krenim ship, it says and that is supposed to be a Krenim ship!

    Speculating a bit here- but likely because it's a "free" (even though you still have to grind for it) ship and they don't want to take away value from other ships you have to spend money for to obtain (including Lobi which you have to get keys/lockboxes for)

    IMO, if it's a "racial" ship constraint then it should be allowable, period.
    It's not you- it's me. I just need my space.

    Being critical doesn't take skill. Being constructively critical- which is providing alternative solutions or suggestions to a demonstrated problem, however, does.

    Considering that the Nandi (Summer 2015 Event ship) can use the D'Kora's (Lock Box ship) console and vice-versa, that explanation is kinda invalid though.

    If anything, being able to equip those two consoles on the Krenim Science Vessel would increase the value of the Krenim Warship and Zahl Cruiser, because people (including me) love collecting ships and like having all the gadgets at their disposal. It's not like you'd get those two consoles for free when you get the Krenim Science Vessel; you'd still have to buy the other two ships, so no devaluing there.

    And another patch has been released with no word of this issue. It would be very much appreciated if we could get a dev to weigh in on this so we at least know if this is intentional or not.

    Let me add my voice in support.

    As an owner of both ships myself, I'd really like to have the Annorax Krenim console opened up to be used on the Krenim science ship too. It only makes sense to me.

    As a matter of fact, the krenim torpedo and the science ship console should share some kind of bonuses with the Annorax console too when equipped on the Annorax, at least I think so.
