"Man in the Mirror" Foundry mission

Actually..... "Man in the Mirror" is quite good. It's got a fun story, attention to detail in the map and characters.
I really enjoyed it.
until.....
The final space battle.
WHAT ARE YOU ******* *** ****** THINKING?
The enemy ships are ridiculously strong. Not just strong, but ridiculous.
One torpedo hit, on a 100% strength shield: 15.000+ HP gone ????????
WHAT?
I dodge the torpedos, fire a singularity, stun, hit fire at will and tac team II and go broadside to fire all the beams, dodging fire, hit photonic fleet and a torp spread II while I change course and dive at the ships at full speed to dodge the next volley of torpedos. That should make a dent. Nope.... it's not even showing on the HP bar. Then jam sensors while I go broadside and make a getaway for the second run.
It's no use.
4 hits with disruptors and my shields are gone. (resilient Jam'Hadar XI and I keep hitting science team and fleet).
Two disruptor hits more and my hull is at 30%. Brace for impact is totally useless.
And then it's only one or two seconds from exploding.
I'm not joking. Try it yourself.
Impossible to win that in a level 5 standard science ship. And it's not a bad boat.
Down to 2 enemy ships after 2 hours of battle... I just gave up. No rating, just quits.
I think those ratings that you can see, don't tell you the real story.
What a pity of a good mission. Please test before release?

But as you can see, it's quite old. However I clicked the author's name and he was active over there a few months ago.

I really like it. It's a well made one. I'm a passionate person, so that shows from my posts I guess. I'll direct them at the right person, Grand Nagus.
I just get blown out of the sky at the last act. (but strangely enough, not in any other battle in this mission)
A little but too much of Rule of Acquisition 62!
