Getting so complicated it's putting me off.

I've played games for over 20 years and have watched some really great games kill themselves off by becomming just too dang complicated and complex for a regular player to come in and play. STO is becomming this way and it's concerning me.

I have played STO since beta when Atari owned it and the changes have become so radical and so complicated it puts me off to look at other games. I have found myself playing Minecraft when I get home instead of playing STO because I just don't want to grind constantly. I just want to play. Sadly the only way to compete anymore is by grinding constantly.

If I recall they decided to make the game less complicated several years back by combining many things yet they went right back to what was failing and here we are again.

I do love this game that is why I keep comming back but am seriously sadened that they are repeating the same old thing they tried to fix.

As the old saying goes keep it simple stupid.

With that said Thank you Cryptic for all the new content. Thank you for all the new options available to keep the game going. Thank you for your hard work and diligant efferts to make this game one of the best games online. Please head my warning and look at your own history.

I love STO and am just concerned.
