Fed. 3-pack only, for me as well.

Grind - redirect my normal dil farming for Zen to purchase the ship(s)
Thought about getting a scimi but I would just hate to drop the OSS of my morrigu.....so maybe at some point i will buy the tac scimi but that may be far away.
Seems like they added a 15% Zen sale on top of things. Didn't expect that. Bought 200 Euro worth of Zen the other day; lost ca 3,000 Zen on the deal in the process. *&%$%^&*()_!
Scimitar is the Dreadnought, the ship's flagship and the Warbird. That's what gave us the Scimitar now has so much in common that it has a similar name. Nothing else worthless ships underdeveloped and ugly. Reheated pork Battlecrusier. And no flagship. Do not pile or something like that because it does not look at the flagship ship, or it is not.
I've already got more ships than I can master in the game time available to me; in fact, I'm going to have to spend Zen on extra ship slots already, to keep up with the event ships...

I won't be buying them, cause they don't interest me. I never liked those Fed and KDF ships. I may buy the Scimitar in the future, but its not on my list.
However for me buying ships. I use my wallet. I hadn't used Dil since it was in the 150-160 range on the Dil exchange. Since they went too high, they lost a customer. To me its faster and easier to use my wallet, than to spend months and months of just grinding and not really playing the game. I enjoy the game, so I won't use it to just grind.

Grind - redirect my normal dil farming for Zen to purchase the ship(s)
I want the starfleet variants at least. I'll grind most of the Zen and maybe spend real money to fill out the last five hundred or so.
I find being forced to grind for Zen keeps me from impulsively buying ships then regretting it 10 minutes later. Either I want the ship enough to grind or the desire fizzles out and its no loss.
Grind - all out dil farming just for this, despairing as you watch the dil-to-zen rate continue to rise
My vote isn't entirely accurate. I haven't been on in ages either.
I had 4332 (or something) zen sitting in my account; I'm a lifer, so I get that 500 bonus each month. I also have Dilithium to play with (because I wasn't silly enough to try and upgrade all my gear), so I transfered enough dilithium into the zen exchange to total 5000zen, and then purchased the Oddy Bundle. Customized the ship, set my Boffs and Skills up on the new ship, and then.....
I logged off. The Oddy aside (cause it doesn't really make a difference at this point, it was just cheaper to grab the bundle now) the game has no appeal to me at the moment.
I did the Dil grind for the Command tac warbird when it came out, Zen was much cheaper back then and it still took me around a month to work up enough Dil for the ship. With prices as they are I'm not even remotely interested in doing that, so I will be saving Zen for at least one three pack, spending out that much cash on the mega bundle whilst desirable is simply not feasable for me. It will probably take me the same amount of time to save the zen as it would to grind the Dilithium, but at least this way I can play the game as normal.
"If this will be our end, then I will have them make SUCH an end as to be worthy of rememberance! Out of torpedos you say?! Find me the ferengi!".
nothin against the oddy or the new bort... not a major fan of the new Scimitard but not really anything against it either... I just find the price tag for these pixels to be 200% past absurd
Not because I'm unhappy or have any complaints or issues with them.. they just don't appeal to me.
A T6 Odyssey wouldn't be any type of significant change from my T6 Presidio, and when I want to hit as hard as possible, they won't hold pace with my Arbiter or my Eclipse.
On the Romulan side, the T6 Scimitar simply doesn't provide anything substantial over the T5U Scimitar. If I didn't already own the T5U version, then maybe.. but as someone that already has the Scimitar (and docked it in favor of the Morrigu) there isn't enough here to justify 2500-3000 Zen for the 'upgrade.'
My KDF Character is a KDF-Romulan, I don't have any actual Klingons, so obviously the Bort variants don't interest me either.
These ships just simply don't provide anything I want. I don't desire any of the traits either, so I'm happy to just stand pat with the ships I already own.
Your correct on the Endeavour being identical to the Presido. The Endeavour has weapon cruiser command, which is far superior to the hangar bay on the Presido, but that is a matter of opinion.
The only ship in the pack that has a real advantage over the Command ships, is the Yorktown with sensor analysis.
I'm not buying any of them, I don't really see the benefit to myself. I bought the LoR and Delta Ops pack when they were at $120 and they were good investments for me. But then when they gave us the T6 veteran heavy destroyer, that's the only thing my characters fly once getting the desired traits from other ships. I did recently buy the cross faction T6 pilot escort, since for the longest time escorts were my favorite, went right back to vet ships.
I'm considering it for the science and tac traits as much as for the ships. That tac trait is great on paper for an escort / bop / warbird with 1-3 torps plus beams or cannons.
Wallet - opening it for the first time / first time in ages.
I don't mind shelling out for something I like.
In this case, my immediate plan in the event I pick the game back up is to pick up a Martok. I don't know who I'll put in it since my KDF characters are pretty well suited to their present ships, but the Martok is basically a Super Negh'var and I can't in good conscience pass up such a great looking ship. Besides, KDF needs all the sales they can get - only thing I'd pony up for faster is a new Orion FDC.
After that? Probably an Endeavor, and very maybe a Flambard. Endeavor will be getting the classic Odyssey skin if I can at all help it, though.

Classic Odyssey lines is an option for all Tier 6 Federation Flagships.
I know because I just opened my wallet for the first time in a very long time and bought the Zen to buy the full 9 pack. I figure that I've paid more dollars-per-minute for plenty of other games and I've been getting years of enjoyment out of STO to make it worthwhile. Plus I have about 20 alts so C store ships go a long way.
I find it interesting that, as of my vote, there are equal numbers if people voting on the extreme ends of the scale: 39 on each end, with a small smattering of votes in the middle brackets.

- I can't create the 3 ships pack, based on what I need/want
- ships are too expensive
- I have enough ships, for the poor content available in game; no need to buy a new ship.
- and I'm not interested by these ships.

Gonna get myself full pack. Later. Much later. Like 4-6 months later. If i'll still want em. Gotta grind some gear for Jupiter and Paradox first so i have no use for any more ships atm.

Disappointed the TAC Oddy does not have 5 Tac Slots so you could use the old AQUARIUS as well as the new console why just why didn't they add extra slot
I bought the Mega bundle of all the faction Flagships. But I don't know why. I'm not a fan both the KDF and the RRF. Maybe if the latter didn't exist and instead you can actually play the Romulan Star Empire faction. And the KDF... we all know how tradition and dogma hold progress and enlightenment back. And honor, how destructive, outmoded, and unessesary it is.
I digress...
I requested the Mega Bundle be refunded and or replaced with the Odyssey (T6) Bundle. I myself am not a fan of the Odyssey (as you can see from my sig). I'm just getting them to unlock the starship mastery. The Tactical Odyssey's mastery will do wonders on my ship!
The first Belfast was commanded by Captain Ve'Kal Shon until its destruction in 2409. A new ship was commissioned bearing the same name and registry as special dispensation to then newly promoted Captain Edward XIII for his pivotal role during the renewed Dominion War.
I already have a T6 ship on all my regularly played characters, and don't see the benefits of yet another one. With the constant grind to upgrade gear, I feel like the fvai chasing the groundroot on a string just in front of its nose.
"Susse-thrai" had been the name bestowed upon her, half in anger, half in affection, by her old crew on Bloodwing; the keen-nosed, cranky, wily old she-beast, never less dangerous than when you thought her defenseless, and always growing new teeth far back in her throat to replace the old ones broken in biting out the last foe's heart. Romulans: left one homeworld, lost another, third time's the charm?

Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
