Attract Fire is an important part of playing a threat-based Tank in a ship with a Warp Core, and it's with dismay that I note that the Tier 6 KDF Flagships are still subscribed to the outdated design choice that leaves them without AF as a cruiser command.
While there are Lockbox and Lobi options for playing a KDF tank, I'd really hoped to use the Gorkon as a native KDF platform in the same way that many of my peers have been using the Science Odyssey and intend to use the Yorktown. The lack of AF means I'd be no use as a tank in Hive Space Elite.
So other than "that's how we designed the ships four years ago" what's the thinking behind another set of KDF ships without Attract Fire?

Then again, they showed a lot of flexibility with the rules regarding the console setups across the board on all flagships of each faction. But battlecruisers are not really meant to tank - then again, they have the highest HP of the bunch which also doesn't make sense, usually Battlecruisers sacrifice hull for offensive power. Yeah, those ships really are a bit wonky.

Apart from the Command Battlecruisers (which have the same Battlecruiser Starship Ability Package as all other Battlecruisers) so the old "they just don't" argument makes even less sense than it has done for the past four years.
Actually the Command Battlecruisers follow Flight Deck Cruiser rules, Shileds and AF bu6t no Manouverability or -Weapon drain
They have FDC Cruiser Commands, but their Starship Mastery package is actually (as previously noted) the Battlecruiser package not the FDC package.
This is why I don't want to buy one. I do, because they look neat...but I don't because they maneuver like lead balloons. I may hold off and wait for a T6 Vor'cha.
Or a D7 3 pack? Please?
