Not gonna happen, and if it did I would DEMAND compensation as I paid for a 24/7 service!
"If you can't take a little bloody nose, maybe you ought to go back home and crawl under your bed. It's not safe out here. It's wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross. But it's not for the timid." - Q
If I recall correctly the infrastructure that links Cryptic to us is run by a third party company contracted by PWE... i believe it's called Cogent. Granted computer science isn't my specialty but I believe any issues with connection due to them is not Cryptic's fault, a new server host may be in order should that ever become an issue.
This is all hypothetical as I believe for the most part everything is running great, network connections are so complex and different for every person so do some investigating on your end before accusing Cryptic of problems which likely aren't their doing.
1) Who is going to pay for a week of subscription refunds and lost sales?
2) Do you even know this would be neccessary to fix the problem?
The first is obviously: No one would.
The second is: Probably not. It might even be harmful.
If you want to know why your servers are acting up under load, not having load is not very likely to give you the information you need.
If you want to know why clients have problems connecting to your server, not having clients connecting to your server is not likely to give you the information you need.
