I don't believe the DDoS person thing. According to my internet provider, DCs are actually caused by overstressed servers kicking people out randomly when load on them becomes too intense. Load from screens full of too much graphics data, be it from OP ships like mine, folks using BFaW or the masses of pets and NPCs, etc: I don't know if the periodic double map loading, rubber-banding and other problems are related but often wonder if it is.
Except Trendy has actually confirmed the DDOS attack on multiple occasions. So if you don't believe that's what it is, you either think she's lying to us or has no idea what she is talking about. I'm going to go ahead and disagree on both counts.
Is it happening now? I am getting very slow and laggy response times
yeah game keeps shutting down every 5 min so how are we suppose to play , if it's sever problems whay not get more servers to handle the load ,not keep adding junk to overload the overloaded junk even more

If your provider is telling you that servers DC people when the graphics load is too high then I would think about changing provider - they don't know much about the internet - servers tend to be in racks and aren't connected to monitors therefore don't process any graphics. The only thing processing graphics is your own system so if the DC is due to graphics overload then turn your settings down to what it can handle. More likely they are trying not to say there is an issue with their own infrastructure.
I used to run gaming servers, so know the above for a fact - monitoring for servers is usually carried out by an app which queries the server IP every few seconds to verify the game is running. Server admin is usually carried out by a remote desktop connection - the version of the game running on the server only crunches the numbers and a typical server box can more than handle the load by utilising multiple multi-core cpu's.

That's your ISP treating you like an idiot, don't listen to them.
Your problems are your ISP's fault, and they're passing the buck. The game runs fine if you have a good, solid internet connection. You need to look into a new ISP because every word of what you just typed is complete and total garbage. Your ISP is treating you like you're an idiot, don't let them pull that TRIBBLE.
Frankly this server not responding stuff is getting to be a hassle, after a month dealing with support on a crash issue.I had like two or three days of smooth playing after it was resolved. Now it's back to waiting a few minutes while it tries to load the selected character so I can hit the play button. Then when I'm finally in game I have to contend with server not responding while I rubber band around on screen, then I'm disconnected from server.I then try the using of a proxy,The US proxy lets me on initially then I get disconnected and when I try to log back in there's the pop up "Your ISP is blocked". The EU proxy is just as bad with the server not responding, but at least it doesn't block me when I try to log back in.It seems every patch comes with a new bug that impairs game play in some manner.I'd just like the game to be stable for longer periods of time, and be able to do the things that should only take a few minutes but is then stretch into an hour because I'm spending most of my time looking at a counter that counts up into the five minute range before it catches up so it can start the count over again.I know problems happen, but they seem to be more frequent on this game then any other online game I play.
