Any point investing in stealth ability skill

The skill point seem to add little in comparison with boffs, and with most skills having a diminishing marginal benefit as more points are spent, is stealth worth investing in? Specifically for cloaked torping.

I find it so. On my Romulan characters (who both use T'Varo's as cloaked torp boats), I max out stealth, use the Tal Shiar deflector (best Stealth deflector), and keep Aux power at max. I have also found investing in a couple of good mines - especially the Tholian Web Mines - to be of good value. A powerful cloak and a strong mix of torps and mines is a lot of fun!

On the other hand, with the Skill revamp coming soon...who knows? No doubt everything will change when that hits.

I'd advise waiting till that happens before making ANY serious investments ANYWHERE.

I've given stealth a go and what I learned is:

Stealth is GREAT if you want to be a Cloaked Torpedo Boat. As in, the T'VARO class and variants.
