Hi, fellow Romulans!
I got the 3 Elachi ships a few weeks ago, and I'm looking to name them. I've got some decent single word names in Romulan lined up, but I'm looking for something special for the Sheshar.
I have a few options in mind, but I can't find words for some of them. Here's the translations of my options:
Virinat's Fury
Fire of Virinat
Sorrow of Virinat
Can anyone help me translate these into Romulan?
Or, any other ideas? (Clearly going for a theme, here... I'm sure you get the idea.)
Thanks!

Protogoth's site is pretty invaluable tho

and there is

or

I wouldn't refer to her as the queen of rihan. That is Diane Duane.
(Especially since she's not even a professional linguist.)
There is no word for fury or sorrow, but for sorrow you could use "distress" or "sadness".
Just combine the noun with ch'Virinat as you don't really need "of" to convey the same meaning.
i.e. Okhala ch'Virinat (Elemental fire has a higher meaning) or Llaiir ch'Virinat

My advice is for words that are missing, use a thesaurus to find something similar.
(I've just now added sorrow and fury to the word list for new words to coin.)

I'm sure you wouldn't but lets keep your butthurt rivalry with her on your own site eh? Especially since Protogoth has been 1000x more helpful than you on these forums for similar questions people have asked.
or more simply.... Shoo troll
Right, because helpful people get banned.
But keep on with that name calling though. Cute, especially since you've added so much help to the OP on this thread.

dont talk out your TRIBBLE about things you dont know anything about... as for the help for the op, perhaps you missed the fact that I linked him THREE language resources so he can find what he/she/it wanted?
The links (provided by all involved), as well as the insight into the "ch'" prefix was quite helpful.
Thank you, all.
