Lockbox ship a bit too common?

I don't know about you guys. BUt the new T6 Tholian Meshweaver escort seems a bit too common. Ever since iv'e logged in, there has been a steady, neverending stream of notifications on my screen that someone has won one. I think that definitely might need to be nerfed a bit.

    The weaver is a blue (rare) t5 escort. My guess is it shouldnt have notifications at all

    It's T5 / T5-U, and it's the consolation prize ship so it's much more common than the Tarantula.

    It sounds like a lot of people are trying for the Tarantula, but want to fly the Weaver too.

    I got 3 in 10 boxes. Sold 1 for 10 mil, checked 10 min later and the price was down to 5 mil.
    Well excuse me for having enormous flaws that I don't work on.

    I don't know if it's the lockbox ships or what, but the notification spam started immediately when I logged in and did not abate. It's worse today than I can recall ever seeing it before.

    So, I guess I'll need to figure out how to disable those messages, and then I can revel in the delight at finding out that this is a setting you must make at the character level instead of how it should be, AT THE ACCOUNT LEVEL.

    Indeed. This must be a mistake. And it is slightly annoying to constantly see this message as they are obtained far more often compared to the other lockbox ships.

    I knew it was somewhere in the options, found it:

    You can disable these messages by going to the bottom right corner of your chat screen, and choose 'notification settings'. In the screen that will open, you can unselect the boxes under 'fly-in' for Admin Announcements and Gameplay announcements. That should take care of the problem.

    Probably a lot of people who don't read the site news will really think it is a Tier 6 when it is just Tier 5 and still requires an additional ship upgrade.

    After buying myself one off the exchange (just to take it for a spin) I can see why it's so common. It's a pos. Possibly the worst T5 ship we've had yet. Iv'e decided to name mine 'The Little Ship that Couldn't"
