Rick Sternbach's original USS Pegasus design - retro Nebula!

It was just recently I discovered Sternbach's original Pegasus-design, made up from Enterprise-C (Ambassador Class) parts:

As a big Nebula class fan I find this design very intriguing. For STO it might seem a bit superflous as we go forward int ime (usually), but a Ambassador-era Nebula pendant seems very cool and retro-stylistic to me. What do you think? pig-1.gif

Well, I found this clearer depiction:

Quite frankly... I'm not to impressed, and am rather glad it didn't maje it off the drawing board. Those nacelle placments seem a bit off...

    Thanks for the find pig-1.gif

I still like it. I feel it makes sense to have a Constitution - Miranda relationship between two ship classes in each era. pig-1.gif

front and rear view, nice looking but I'm not too keen on the side view, would be interesting to see that design with the secondary hull removed a bit like a 24th century Miranda type design

I can't view the first post's image any bigger than a postage stamp, but the one tousseau linked reminds me of theArmstrong from the 2009 movie

I kinda agree...just kinda meh to me...personally would take the Nebula in a heartbeat over it. Maybe partially because it has no roll bar or mission pod like the Miranda or Nebula.

I actually think this could be made into a pretty sweet design. Imagine it with a hull similar to the Oddy sorju variant with a round or chevron saucer with swept back nacelles pylons :) with the customary mission pod on top.

Come on cryptic it's about time we got a t6 Nebula :)

I'd like it better if the pylons came out of the secondary hull at a slight angle rather than the primary.
Perhaps if the secondary weren't there it would look better also.
