How do you finish training vessel tutorial?

I have returned to the game after a 2 year hiatus and I am stuck at the end of the tutorial mission on board the light cruiser. I am supposed to secure the hallway but the Klingons do not show up to fight. How do I overcome this?

It happened to me also, but I'm new to the game. It don't trigger sometimes, but if you keep changing instance it will eventually.

I am having trouble in the tail end of the tutorial, could really use some help. I do not know if I am doing something wrong or there is a bug in the system. I am in the Vega system, I have defeated 4 of the 5 Borg landing party probes. Everytime I go after the last probe the whole senario seems to reset where my bridge officer says "We won't survive two seconds over there. We have to turn back." then it turns me back to Assimilation of the Innocent right before I went after that inal probe. Anyone have any suggestions PLEASE??
