Vastam Cruiser Command

Hi team,

How do I use cruiser commands on my Vasatm. It shows some kind of power meter and takes ages to fill up, by the time it is filled up the battles is long over.

    The power bar for the command abilities is filled up by using your boff skills. Each time you click a boff ability, the power bar creeps upwards.

    In some PvEs and story missions, yeah you're not likely to get the chance to fire off the abilities. They're best designed for longer or advanced-level PvEs.

    Yeah that thing is pretty much designed for team based stuff. Team members who use boff powers also help to fill that bar, not sure about how close they must be though.
    And generally command powers fill it faster than tac, egni and sci.

    thank you for reminding me how gimmicky that TRIBBLE is and why I am in no hurry to get at those ships.... no matter how badass they look

    Just FYI, this is no longer true.

    The mechanic was removed because it was causing server lag. It was compensated with an increase to the speed in which inspiration is granted from BoFF abilities.

    As others said though, it shorter missions you won't get a chance to use the abilities, it just fills too slow.

    Thanks for the update. Kinda funny to think that their 1 purpose of teamwork wasn't compatible with the game....

    Yeah, that one gave me a bit of a laugh too. Command ships are supposed to 'inspire those around you' but the abilities of Command are all pretty much centered on the Captain alone and have little to do with squad command or 'inspiration.'

    Just another reason why Command is considered so far behind Intel. :)
