Looking for a specific type of fleet/armada.

Good day and thank you in advance for your time.

I am a U.S. Marine who spent four years in the Corps and got out as a terminal lance six years ago. My primary STO character is a Starfleet Marine semi-kinda-roleplay-ish character.

I am slightly disgruntled with my current fleet. I have invested approx. 900,000 credits into this organization. I joined and worked my TRIBBLE off primarily because I have a real life friend, the man who got me into STO in the first place, who invited me and two of his real life friends into it. I am the highest rank you can be without being invited into the elite group by the fleet founders/inner circle/illuminati/bologna. But this fleet WILL NOT ADVANCE! It is at level 49 with a level 4 starbase, level 2 research lab and level 3 everything else, but out of a thousand members, we only have 3 or 4 that donate common duty officers to projects, so nothing ever gets done. members don't chat or play together except for our little clique.

Are there any Marine-themed fleets that will accept my membership and give me at least some credit for my prior service?

We have max level in ALL current holdings and even though we are larger size we still retain the familiar feeling. If you are active we run lots of events weekly and have a VERY stable leadership with no dictatorship rule. Looks like you might do better for an Officer since you seemed very committed.
