No Available Ship Traits For Fifth Slot?

I am not sure this is a bug or not, but I recently bought the added ship trait slot from the Research station. And I sort of expected it to have a selection of traits to pick from to add to my ship.

But the weird thing is, there appear to be no available traits that aren't already selected. I think, what, four slots? And only four traits to pick from.

I guess I am a little confused. Why would the game offer five ship trait slots if you've only got four traits to pick from?

Incidentally, I'm flying a Yamato-class T6 Fleet, if that illuminates matters.

If you have not acquired more than 4 ship traits and you have a 5th slot there will in fact not be anything to select for it... you have to unlock another trait to slot there.

T6 Ships (not Fleet versions) provide them. Specializations provide them and some of the Iconian War Arc Missions provide them. There are also three from the Delta Doff Pack if you are really really really lucky, or you can spend a fortune for those three on the Exchange.

Except for those Delta Doff Pack ones, you need to complete the T5 Mastery on the ship or level up the Specialization to various points to unlock those. Delta Doff Pack ones are a Reward you just open to put them in your Starship Traits Inventory.
