There is absolutely no reason to have a T6 as nothing in this game is beyond a well geared and flown T5 the only thing separating t5 and t6 is an extra trait at the core and a lot of those are absolute garbage.
Ahhh, whiskey tango foxtrot, over?
My KDF Tac flies a Fleet Qib. Let's review the stations -
For Intel abilities, she uses Surgical Strikes III and Override System Safeties III, as well as Viral Impulse Burst II, (which is very handy for getting into the foe's rear arc so all those lovely Intel skills like Space Flanking, Shoddy Engineering, Destabilized Emitters, and Unprotected Systems can kick in).
And you're seriously telling us that in your opinion that offers no advantages over T5-U ? Have you ever actually used SS III and OSS III ?
I switched from a Fleet Mogh to the base Qib, (which I stuck with long enough to unlock the ship trait), and then went to the Fleet Qib. The transition was a bit of a jolt, it took some getting used to, but now I wouldn't trade my Fleet Qib for any other ship in the game. It's a face-melting beast, even in the hands of a mediocre player like me.

Guy as I said you really do not absolutly need a T6 for end game period. T5U well geared and played can handle anything in this game except maybe the elite stf's. T6 can make some things easier especially for a player with your own admitted mediocre skills. So if you are relying on a T6 to get things done well your own statement proves my point..." a mediocre player" and by that you have rendered you remark moot. Oh yeah trait tree's I have every single one filled so yeah I know how to use them. And my remark is not just my opinion either about T5U's. So maybe improve your skills then your remark may have some bearing.
