Captain's log: Endless Slaughtering of the Borg
Captain Faed log, Stardate 87971.38
The war drags on. After a brief respire at Earth Spacedock and mop up operations of KDF 'celebrations', we have been redeployed to resume our assaults on the Borg.
The Iconian War forced us back home to defend our worlds. But with renewed Borg assaults on our borders, we have been recalled to engage the Borg to keep them from striking our weakened defences. Even at the height of the Iconian War, they still struck deep in our territories.
Our transwarp and slipstream drive allows us to be deployed anywhere across the galaxy, engaging the Borg where ever they appear. We have drilled many times with our KDF and Romulan allies with staged attacks on our bases in an effort to improve our fighting skills.
But I fear it is all for nothing.
This morning, a task force of elite Federation and Reman ships attacked the Borg Queen again. We slaughtered hundreds of thousands of Borg and denied the Queen yet another body to respawn in. The Reman fleet lost several cruisers and my wing lost a cruiser as well. We counted ten ships lost against their thirty ships including their flagship. A comparison with my superior officer, Admiral @plvoy revealed that the task force has attacked and scored hundreds of victories at the Unicomplex. We keep getting reassured that this battle will end the war with the Borg.
It hasn't.
I calculate that I, personally have killed thousands of Borg, and my fleet has killed billions of Borg. Tens of billions, perhaps.
Still they come.
I fear someday, we will run out of ships to muster for yet another assault on the Borg to keep them from advancing onto our worlds.
Perhaps, if we were to retake Vega, we could remove a threat so deep in our space.
I fear the war.
I fear the inevitable Borg victory.
But...
they shall fear me!
For I shall not die, unless surrounded by a thousand Borg corpses, deep in space, with hundreds of Borg ships littered about!
LET! THEM! COME!

"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.
He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him.
He shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best him in battle.
He is my answer to cryptic logic, he is the Defender of my Romulan Crew.
He is Tovan Khev... and he shall know no fear."
