What exactly does this entail?

"Refinement", unfortunately does not mean getting bonus Dilithium Refining allowance. I think it's the one where you get the bonus R&D materials instead.

Y'know, I think I'm okay with that. Part of me would've loved extra refinement allowance, but I'm pretty sure the only thing keeping Dilithium inflation in check (and therefore exchange rates even remotely reasonable) is the refinement allowance.

Refinement is going to be another upgrade event i believe. The Guy who updated the calendar used internal terminology and cleared up the confusion on Reddit *Refinement Weekend is an internal term for an Upgrade Weekend*
