The Universe has turned for my K'tinga

I got this last night, Console - Universal - Sustained Radiant Field, and upgraded it to Epic Mk XIV. Unbelievable! I replaced an Engineering console that was providing additional Kinetic resistance and some hull points which, to me, was not a big loss. This is a very effective console. +25% shield and hull heals and +12.4% damage for all weapons. I also had the Radiant Anti-proton beam array seated as a rear weapon, so I have two of the three pieces in the set. I may see what that quantum torpedo is like and get the third piece. I already have an aft torpedo launcher. I think it's the Withering Photon model. I'll set the quantum as the rear launcher and have all three pieces. With this console I noticed a big difference last night in everything I did. Woot! My T5-U Fleet K'tinga just got better!

Flying a mirror k'tinga retrofit with radiant equip myself - set torp and dhcs in front, repstore dhcs and turrets in remaining slots. With attack patterns enhanced by pilot spec, I'm swimming in temp hp and the occasional ts3 is a killer I call it the "I dont explode too often and I can have decent fun in a bop even if I haven't mastered the art of cloaked alpha strikes and hit-n-run tactics" build

Umm... K't'inga is not a BoP. Kor is a BoP Koro't'inga is a battle cruiser.

I didn't know the K'tinga was offered in a Mirror version. Is that a T5 ship?

I look at the T5 Fleet K'T'Inga's BOFF & Console layout, sees that at T5U it is a 4/3/4 Console layout, and imagine how nice this ship would be at T6. It is the only Cruiser anywhere that I know of that at full Fleet level, is not a 5 ENG Console Cruiser. And T5->T6 ship conversions inherit the equivalent Fleet T5U level of console layouts.

I can easily see this BOFF layout change if the D-7/K'T'Inga ever sees the light of T6.

Yeah...makes me smile just thinking about it. I love flying this ship and I have several that I bounce around on, but always end up coming back to this one. I can't imagine what adding one additional tactical power on one of the existing tactical officer seats would do. And that's not even asking for much. Working on getting that Iconian rep Quantum Torpedo for the rear to get the three piece bonus. That'll be replacing the Withering Photon I have currently back there. The forward torpedo is the Terran rep Withering Photon.

For a battlecruiser, the turn rate is great.

I would love to see a T6 K'Tinga; hopefully, Cryptic can sneak that one by CBS.

The K'tinga is already in the game. Why would Cryptic have to ask CBS for their permission again to use something they already have gotten permission to use?

Found another little DPS boost...replaced all my active BOFF's with BOFF's that have damage bonus space traits. Unfortunately, now my bridge crew consists of: a Romulan, two Nausicans, a liberated Borg Klingon and a Delta recruit BOFF. With the exception of the liberated Borg...I have no Klingons acting as bridge officers. Hopefully the other races will be able to get different traits in time.

I'd go with an All Nausicaan Crew or have that Rom Embassy BOFF with SRO thrown in if you want. The other races for the KDF have nothing useful for space. There is also the Potato Man / Potato Masher the Great BOFF reward from one of the Delta story arc missions since he has Pirate trait like Nausicaans do.
