Teleporting ships

Hey guys,
I've been using the foundry and have found a bug where ships will randomly teleport about 30-40km out of the battlefield. One of the frequent ships is a Borg Tactical Cube using the Borg Dreadnought type. I have the battle taking place between a transwarp Conduit and a Space station.

Hello Stalwart.

This is a Bug... but AFAIK not a Fixable Bug.

What is happening is during space map Preview. NPC Groups will periodically Teleport to the 0,0,0 Location on the Map.
It only occurs during map Preview, so your Published mission will work Correctly.

The best thing to do is to do a test publish, with a few alterations to make sure you don't get any bad reviews during testing.

• Change the Name of the mission to something Generic like (Test Mission 47- Do Not Play) .
  • You can save the real name in Author Notes, so you don't lose it.
• Change the Starting point to something other than what you want it to be. (A random Console on ESD for ease of testing)

Then Publish your mission and play it with your regular characters. This is always a better option than testing with your Foundry Character as it will show you what a normal character will see and not one at Level 5. Then when you are done, you can withdraw the mission and change the name and location back to what you wanted.
