on the ground, we've got a whole lot of different mines available these days, but no plasma, even although we've got space plasma mines.
it occured to me as i was looking at the Hiven boff, and noted he's got regular mines and Plasma Weapon Specialist--so shouldn't he have access to a 'plasma mine barrier'?
I'm thinking Subspace Plasma Mine Barrier--both in kit and training manual, as an addendum to Rom Rep--not a lot there on the early rep's for kit modules, and i DO so want more training manuals...(thx btw for the new ones in the winter event store.)
anyone thoughts?

We don't really have a while lot of mines...Chroniton...Cold...and rest to the best of my knowledge are non specific.
In looking at all these, it makes me think there should be ground mines that mirror each type of space mine, or at the very least, mirror grenades.
I'm thinking..
Plasma (+dot)
Bioplastic (as plasma, with splash)
photon (+stun)
kinetic (+knock)
shrapnel (+phys, with possible bleed dot)
electrogravometric (hold/stun and electric dmg)
tachyon (+shield drain)
Gas with subcategories like psi (confusion), poison (tox), or elachi
quantum (++blast aoe, lowered chance of triggering +critd and knock)
flashbang--(blind/confusion aoe)
IED-single target, chance of detonation when implanting (self-damage) --chance of triggering, ++critH.
or in other words, there's a ton of stuff that could be done with mines for kit mods/training manuals.
If we can't retrofit them into old rep, that's ok, i'd just like to see them in game.
