Looks like I need some advice

Hi,

As I wanted to improve my KDF Rommi toon, I decided to switch from my Faeth to something with more power, my result:

The ship shall be something between a vaper and an escort, that is why I included Aux2Bat, decloak, pew pew a bit, then run away, cloak again. I did not buy the Benthan Cruiser as I don't know how effective its trait maybe is.
I know about immunity stuff and vaping being hard to impossible but why not try; chose tetryon for nukara cascade and tetryon lattice thing, I also included the 3 pc bonus from butterfly cause it improves tetryon dmg (2pc) and gives another nice ability + the console is a nice boost with an aux battery, also, I like the sound of tetryon overloads
First tests led to killing a guardian tank/faw thing and a baltim that was little fast but that was more "oh no he aux2sif doffed me...shoot something else for pew pew"

Is anyone able to help me with this? (If the Khaiell is not that great, I could switch to Malem with torp console or to my faeht with plasma lance)

    I assuming your using the attack pattern labda and replace APO3 with CRF3. Drop the tractor beam and sci team and use hazard emitters and pilot team. Super weapon ingenuity is great for double tapping beam overload plus using the APL will help. Torpedo spread 3 with that neutronic.....I would assume your using the two piece to lower the torp cooldown.

    While I am biased against Aux2Bat, it seems to me that you're wasting aux power which you could use for the Nuke rep passive for extra damage, it's also worth noting that aux power affects your cloak.

    If you run low shield and medium engine power you can have high weapons and aux power, it may then be worth sacrificing your eng uni for a sci so you can add DRB to your opening barrage, that thing can be terrifying if you do it right.

    I have now tested this build for some weeks in both kerrat and queue, it worked quite great, if everything works, my isometric charge hits for 60k+, overload 70-80k, tetryon cascade is another 40-50k, 20k out of the 3pc setbonus from butterfly, 30k from torpedo and 20-35k from my DHCs, didnt get DRB so far but it might be even better with it, my record was 400k dmg in 2 secs to one player (my chain attacks took a second one down too for another 100k), imho this works quite great, I thought about maybe going even more offensive and take in terran torp instead of one DHC, replace TS with HY and then buy a sheshar for 2xHY but this currently is out of my budget although I might try

    It is of course, yesterday I hit a 50% rez escort with DRB for 11k damage per tick :mrgreen:

    I dont want to see if they bring back plasma explosion crits, last time was one of the most fun killing things ingame...bad ships/traits/equip are coming to the game (some are even worse than current stuff), wait and see, that will take more skill and fun :tongue:

    I honestly don't want to see, as soon as star citizen comes sto will have to improve a lot to retain a large portion of its playerbase. The fact that's the only Star Trek game won't be enough I think.

    I never said "PvP" was fine. I said "people say this game is fine", i.e. PvErs who are completely fine playing a game that doesn't challenge them.
    I'm honestly not ok with the game and miss pre-DR PvP.

    I miss pre-LoR PvP, but I'd settle for anything pre-DR too. So much cheese nowadays, I haven't PvP'd in months properly, and in last two months at all.

    DRB, like many things, is in a dire need of nerf, what with people literally one or two shotting with it.

    To the OP, I'd use CRF3 on that commander, and snug in pilot team, if you haven't already. And I'm meh myself about A2B since aux can be a nice additional source of damage, but whatever floats the boat nowadays build-wise.
