Is Command over represented?

There seems to be a lot of dislike for command seating on the forums. Most of the complaints I see claim that its because there are only one or two useful abilities in the specialization. The problem with that argument is that all the specialisations have a similar issue only having a couple of useful powers to use.

I believe the problem isnt that command isnt useful but that ships with command seating seem to get released far more frequently than ships with pilot or intel and people are fed up with it

nah, the problem is intel's good skills can be sloted in a bfaw build for masssive damage. so some people think you have to have it or the ship sucks.

command is team based which some sto player hate it because it doesn't make them look godly. there is, in fact, alot of overlap with the above group.

we just got some ships with pilot. that reminds me I really should actually use some pilot skills on my kor.

It seems more of a lack of seeming competitive power with command abilities compared to intel or pilot ones, than a dislike or the frequency of releases.

My main character is command specialist, hes there to help the team. That being said a lot of the complaints seem to be coming from the must have more dps group.

As for your question, no i want more command ships. Like a t6 sovie with command seating.
