Necro pets?

I keep hearing this term around the forum. From what I gather its some trait or combination of traits that lets you do something along the lines of summon pets as soon as other pets die that have limited invulnerability or something like that.

Anyway can someoune clarify what this is refering to, what exactly it does and how it is achieved. Thanks

Uh... it's probably a reference to a (doff?) trait that gives your pets 5 seconds of invulnerability each time you use the "launch" ability (even if you don't actually launch anything). But I can't remember where did I hear that myself...

    EDIT Found it:

Scramble Fighters triggers on using the Launch functionality of any hangar pet. When used, all currently active hangar pets are immediately healed for half of their max hull. In addition, they gain a damage buff and become immune to all damage for five seconds. These bonuses take effect even if no new pets are launched.

It's a spaceship trait from a doffbox special reward:

It's a starship trait that came from the current duty officer promotion pack which heals pets and makes them briefly invincible when activating certain powers. I don't recall the name.

I thought you were talking about something else when I saw the thread name, if you notice in the mirror event with ships that have separation...when you kill the separated pets they still fire at you moments after you bring them down to 0...which I thought maybe was what you're talking about :p

I don't get the term then...making them briefly invincible has nothing to do with necro...that's protection not necromancy.
