I have some tips for completing the Brute Force console puzzle in the Assault on Terok Nor Ground PvE Queue.
- The console order so far seems to be random. I've run it about 20 times so far and I have not been able to notice a definitive pattern as of yet, though there may be one.
- The NPC VO will give two hints. One tells you which console is not in the sequence, and the color and position of a console that is in the sequence. Sometimes you may not get the unused console hint and get 2 location hints instead. So far the hints tend to be the 1st and 3rd console in that scenario.
- The biggest issue seems to be the console colors, and as of now they are a bit difficult to identify. There are 6 consoles, 3 on one side of the room 3 on the other. If facing the room with the forcefield in front of you and the burning debris behind you, on the left are yellow, white, red. On the right is blue (on the support column closest to the burning debris, purple (on the wall in front of that support column, and green
- Decide who is going to do the sequence before you reach the room, perhaps in the beginning before you beam over to Terok Nor.
- 2 people should enter the sequence while the rest pull security (for advanced and elite may need to have 4 on security and 1 do the sequence)
- The sequence is toon exclusive, so if you enter the wrong console and need to restart the sequence it doesn't effect anyone else who may be trying to enter the sequence
- Whoever is doing the sequence stay on task. Don't waste time killing NPC's, focus on the consoles (wasted time killing npc's can lead to mission ail on advanced/elite queue's. Goal is to enter the sequence as fast as possible.) . those on security use close range/aoe attacks/abilites. Don't forget about grenadiers up on the catwalk
- Nanite Health/Triage and exothemic induction for science captains. Generators/support drones and combat resupply for engineers. Tactical captains use security team/overwatch and perhaps stun/smoke grenade. These are just suggestions, there are even more kit modules that could be helpful available on the exchange or through reputation, dilithium store, events and specialization.
Hope these tips are helpful. Future updates may alter how they may apply. Feel free to add on or correct anything that may be incorrect or out of date
