I've just started playing the game again after a two year break and have been fooling around with different pilot skills on my new pilot boff. My question is which pilot skills do you guys find most useful in PvP and why? I fly escorts in a hit and run fashion if that helps in narrowing down suggestions. thanks

Lock Trajectory: This allows you to hit, and keep hitting as you run away again.
Hold Together: An alternative to Hazard Emitters, but fitting in a Pilot slot. (Which on the Pilot Escorts means that you can use a tactical slot to get some hull healing.
These are two I use mostly. I have never beel able to fully compare Reroute Reservers to Weapons to abilities like Cannon Rapid Fire or Beam Fire At Will, but you could at least try to experiment with it a bit to see if you like it.
I've not really used Clean Gataway, Deploy Countermeasures or Fly Her Apart, but they might also work with your play style.
Pilot Team might be useful if you don't use other powers that allow you to ignore movement debuffs.
For me a lot of the skills look like you should first try to cover the basic tactical powers to buff your damage output, and then fill the rest with pilot skills for utility-
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
