Just woke up and heard the news. I'm deeply hurt and saddened by attacks that happened in the France. :( My heart goes out to those poor people and their families. May you stay safe in the future.

As for those damn terrorists I'm hoping that they are going to be bombed back to stone age so that they can never ever do what they did tonight and before in many previous attacks.

I don't know what to say here. I can hope France gets what it needs to get through this. This is so much worse than any of my memories of 7/7.

Refugees are welcome. the attackers were french (it seems for most of them). They try to create resentments agaisnt the muslims who are french or live in france, but this will not happen; I'm atheist and I respect those who respect the others. For me, these terrorists are not muslim, they are just a bunch of f..... criminals.

    Current number 129 dead 352 injured. :(

I've been watching this throughout last night and today. I still don't know what to say. I'm terrified that I feel quite numb at this. There's no shock, or surprise. I can't even manage any decent anger at the stupidity.

But ISIS has made enemies of both France and Russia in what? a week?

If there was ever a time for the world community to unite and bring their full might against a foe, this seems like one.

We as a human race should make them feel the full force of Nazara's words...
You exist, because we allow it; and you will end...because we demand it.

But to the people of France I say...we know your strength. You will survive this. Liberty and Republic. The TRIBBLE couldn't kill France these rank amateur terrorist won't either. Your nation and survived and triumphed over bigger and uglier. Smaller and more virulent won't make a difference. And if you can't...we are with you.

France has a very capable military, and I hope they git sum.

Lost behind all the "look at me! I'm so dumb! france surrenders!" internet idiocy is the fact that France has been a major military power for most of its existence, and that even today, aside from being a nuclear and aircraft-carrier power, France has a muscular foreign policy, especially with regard to its former colonies in Africa, where it has had combat troops deployed for years fighting islamists.

Someone somewhere planned all this, and he might still be alive. Other people helped him, and other people are celebrating it.

I hope that French soldiers come in the night and shoot them in their homes, just like we did with bin Laden.

France was America's first ally, and I am proud in the knowledge that we will help France find and punish all the people responsible for this ghastly crime.

Indeed, if Britain is America's mother, France was surely the midwife. Without them, no US, period.

One of them had a Syrian passport, if we take that for what we will.

Je suis triste pour nos chers voisins. D'autant plus qu'il semble avéré que 3 des terroristes venaient de Belgique, mon pays, et j'ai honte. Mes condoléances au pays et aux familles.

There are many things worth grieving and sorrowing about in this world--on that much I think any sane person can agree.

But compassion is NOT a zero-sum game. It isn't unless someone makes it to be in their own minds, so with respect, please don't. If you feel the need to aid a charity for a cause that is weighing upon your heart or give comfort to someone you know who is hurting for a different reason, then by all means go do so, deokkent--I'm sure they will be glad for it.

But again...it's not a zero sum game.

I don't remember much out pouring of support for Russia when the same exact thing happened a few years ago.

Didn't know it was a competition.

As i recall after the attacks by Chechnian rebels/terrorists/freedom fighters in Moscow there was considerable support and condolences as well.

IF there is a difference in the amount of support it's most likely because France doesn't go around bullying.
I'm sure media in the USSR, em Russia, portrait every thing done by Putin and the Russian military/paramilitary as the Gospel itself, but that's not how the action of Russia are viewed/reported by media which are not controlled by mister. Putin.

I think the expression is that dirt is best spotted on a white suit.

But let's not get into a political debate here.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

I think Jim Kirk has the more truthful approximation of this, in paraphrase, if you consider the Federation to be the best outcome, and the Empire the worst...they're both extreme..."Reality is...somewhere inbetween."
