What is the one thing you wish you knew when you started using the Foundry?

Good morning all,

I went back through the first mission I made (about a month after the Foundry was released) and wow. There are so many things I know now that I wish I knew then.

So, if you could slingshot around the sun in a BOP and go back to when you first started working on the Foundry, what one thing would you tell yourself?

There's two that come to mind for me.

1. That i]Insert decoration name here[/i existed.
2. That I could use dialog to trigger object/NPC spawning.

That there are no conditional flags for dialogue. Nuttin'.

I knew there wouldn't be scripting as such, but I remember that I went in for some reason just assuming that you could at least set simple flags like "If character is human, say this."

It keeps TRIBBLE with my dialogue writing to this day.

Whats this Sorcery?

My Main thing, is that you have to uncheck Snap to Grid every time you log in, or you completely BORK your entire map!

I figured out snap to grid quickly. But one of my early missions would have been WAY easier to do if I'd understood how to use coordinates relative to zero altitude.
