Slow updates in launcher

Is anyone getting extremely slow updates on the STO launcher, it is so slow that its been stuck for hours, solution?

I can only suggest quitting and restarting, cant say I have found updates slow, season 11 update took about 5 minutes and Thursdays update less then a minute.
