Anyone know why i can't find the joined trill race for either the fed or klingon, along with caitan and freasan? did they remove them
Are they no longer purchasable in the C-Store? They are not free species, so you may want to check the C-Store to see if you have any luck there.

They're missing for me, along with Fed Klingon (though I hadn't unlocked it). The entire 'Species' tab of the Z-Mart is also gone.... which pisses me off to no end since I just bought the Ferasan unlock two bloody days ago and hadn't rolled one yet.
Maybe this is an unexpected bug with the new season? Kind of funny if so. It seems like no one wants Caitians in Starfleet anymore. They jump on everything and scratch up the captain's chair!
I just checked. He's right. I can't find neither a Ferasan, nor a Fed Klingon, Joined Trill or Caitian as an option when creating a new char. And yes I purchased them all.
Definitely recommend you create a thread in the Bug Report section for this if you haven't already.

I believe (though I can't find the link right now) that they removed paid species temporarily, due to issues, and will be returning them as soon as the issues are fixed.

Cause They (everybody but Trendy & TacoFangs) don't like to post here.

Unsurprising give how toxic the community can be.
But to be fair at the same time as well, Reddit, Twitter, and even Fb hit a lot more people who don't follow the game forums due to wanting to avoid the relative toxicity of it. In addition, all three of them have apps that deliver notifications in near-realtime if interested users are following the threads/posts. This forum does not. Because of this, most of the Cryptic Devs respond faster to Reddit, Twitter, or Fb posts, and more players see their posts. However, it's up to the official forum players to search it up, or get the responses late, if at all.
So when it comes down to it, the Forums is more of a holding tank for those that don't want to check out the other 3 social media sites, and are fed information as it comes, as well as mainly serving as the bug-reporting forum, which is the only real section of the official forums that get regular responses (as regular a response can be here, at least).
I try to get on the forums everyday, when I'm at work I have the forums, Twitter and Reddit all open, although I tend not to post much. I think more of us lurk here than people realize :-)
What was happening is that Players who has previously purchased these Premium Species lost access to them in the Character Creator, and the C-Store wanted to charge you again. So the Devs Pulled them from the C-Store until it could be Fixed.
Characters Already Created function perfectly fine.

I'd guess, there is also a - probably tiny - fraction of people who check their FB/reddit/twitter more regularily than the STO forum, since they will also receive news of acquaintances or other things happening in the world outside of STO?

I hardly every use my own Facebook account, to the point that people will never see my posts whenever I post on my page. What makes you think that I will ever find anything on those social media sites, let alone have any use for them.
Also, toxicity. I am not a huge fan of it, but it really doesn't bother me that much. The SWTOR forums are almost devoid of toxic players because certain parts of the forums are reserved for subscribers. Does it actually work? Absolutely not!

Nothing. But I have heard from the soccer coach of my niece's manicurist's sister-in-law's neighbor's barber's daughter that some (not all) people do exist who use social media - and these will get their info faster if news appear there.

Never going to sign up to any of 'the Socials'; TRIBBLE the herd mentality of it.. especially all the keyboard warriors out there. They -SHOULD- post news on this forum.. not some third-party networking site.
Soon they'll post podcasts on a TRIBBLE site. You'll probably get more eyeballs over there than on a regular podcasting platform.
Well I created a new thread about this issue in the proper section of the forum and got an answer from a developer shortly after. They DO answer on the forums, just not in general discussions.

What is this 'outside' you speak of? This Is an English forum, please keep to English words. Thanks.
Also, is the forum toxic because employees don't bother to check here often, or do they not check here often because its toxic?

Also, there is a very good reason why the name of the site is Twit-er.
