Omni-directional and ancient beams together. Why only in Antiproton???

Currently those that use different ship weapons to antiproton are at a disadvantage, as you can not pair up anything other than antiproton.
This is unfair, and i think there should be added "ancient" omni beams available in Plasma, Disruptor, Tetryon, Phaser. etc.
Who here thinks the same advantage should be available to all players,no matter what type of weapons you have????

    It can also be done with Tetryon.

    The Iconian arc introduced the Tetryon option, don't be surprised if the Mirror arc awards one for another energy type.

    And for the record, the question 'Omni-directional and ancient beams together. Why only in Antiproton???' cannot be answered with a Yes or No poll.

    To know what players think, is a poll. As for the tetryon option being available, I certainly have not seen that.

    To be more exact, I am talking about as an example, Omni directional plasma and ancient plasma beam. Matching ones.
    Please tell me where this is possible then??? Or as you said tetryon???

    A unique Tetryon Omni is a reward from playing the Iconian Arc mission Butterfly.

    At this time, Antiproton and Tetryon are the only energy types that can use 2 Omni Beams.

    butterfly has a mission omni. you can have a crafting one with it at the same time. other will likely come as new sets come out.

    As of right now only tetryon and antiproton have special set omni-beams that can be paired with crafted ones. As @seaofsorrows said that will most likely change as cryptic continues to adds episodes to the game.

    I tried using the tetryon one with plasma and with antiproton. As they are not the same type, it affects weapon power, -10 weapon power if memory serves. However yes If its an all tetryon build, then thats good. The same thing matching needs to be with all other types as well. Thats what I am getting at.

    Well, yeah, I'm not going to vote "yes" or "no" on a "why" question pig-2.gif

    But I agree with you, there should be equal possiblities for all energy weapon types. But as pointed out we'll slowly get those. Tetryon and AP are currently possible, I am almost absolutely certain the new mirror episodes will offer either a phaser or disruptor reward omni to go with the crafted one.​​

    Can we get a feature which automatically closes topics about omni beams and antiproton.
    This is growing tiresome.​​
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Actually a quick search turned up this info. And your name stands out to me since a family member has the same name and was born in 1965. Anyhow, you're right, I shouldn't have called you names. But my point about you "not knowing" still stands.

    Mirror weapon set beam had omni-beam icon on tribble at first but then it was changed to normal beam array icon and they shared same or similar color palette so I guess we gonna have omni-beam disruptor real soon (new episode reward mb?). Besides that as ppl already mentioned theres also tetryon omni-beam available as a reward for Butterfly.

    I'm using 2 Tetryons on a build. At least know the game if you're going to complain. Seems pretty clear to me that they're going to be adding even more that can be paired up, it's just a matter of time.
