T6 Kamarag and Fleet Kamarag and all future starships

Would love to see this ship resurrected at the T6 level. Being that bumping the Fleet Kamarag Retrofit to T5-U grants an additional science console slot, perhaps this could be the new Klingon science vessel. Just make sure it can house a secondary deflector and lose the thin body and make it look more like the K'tinga's body and this would kill two birds with one stone...no more need for a T6 K'tinga if the appearance of a T6 Kamarag closely resembles it!

Being that there are so many players who are interested in ships and that a big part of this game is about the ships, I'd really like to see the developers start a thread similar to the Galactic News Network that strictly has to do with up and coming ships...what's right around the corner, what's currently being worked on and what vessels are in future plans (being discussed).

    I was onboard a year and a half ago. I hate the Z store but I'll gladly pay 3k zen for a T6 kamarag account unlock. 5 FSM and an upgrade token for a T-5u toon unlock is tempting but I haven't been that drunk in quite a while.

    I have it the t5u Kamarag on one of my toons, don't take her out much lately. Mat'ha is my go to KDF ship. It everything I wish the Mogh was, and looks like a baby Vor'cha what is not to love.

    It's kind of funny how badly raptors were viewed at t5, and now t6 they are so so much better.

    But yeah definately love the Kamarag, one of my favorite ships in the game, eagerly waiting a t6 version.

    Funny, I parked the Mat'ha as soon as I got the mastery from it. Went back to the T5 kami on my TAC but still run the Mat'ha on my engie. The Kami is such a fun ship to fly, the Mat'ha tho powerful is just too fast and numble for my gameplay, I keep having to stop and reverse to open up with the spinal cannons (what a PITA). No fun.

    I definitely like the look of the Kamarag but I'm not sure another battlecruiser is a good fit right now. And no, they definitely won't somehow make it into a science ship.

    Why do I think we don't need this battlecruiser at T6 right now? Because out of 13 Tier 6 KDF ships (counting the Kor BoP and not the veteran destroyer), there's already 6 battlecruisers (5 raptors, 1 BoP, 1 destroyer) and I have a feeling the T6 Vor'cha is imminent as it would be a logical fit with the T6 Sovereign. Frankly I'd rather see something more sci focused KDF side before another battlecruiser: T6 Vo'quv or T6 Gorn sci ship or heck even a T6 Kar'fi.
    TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
    Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.

    Have you actually looked at the Kamarag seating and console layout ? It's a battlecruiser in name only, it's almost a SCI ship at the T-5u level, tho technically it's called a 'support' cruiser.

    I have the Fleet version at T5-U. When you upgrade to T5-U it adds a science console.

    It does keep cruiser commands, no? It does keep engineering commander Boff slot no? It keeps battlecruiser mastery passives as well, right?

    On the other hand, it doesn't gain a commander sci Boff slot, it doesn't gain a secondary deflector, it doesn't gain subsystem targetting nor does it get sensor analysis.

    It remains a battlecruiser. A science leaning battlecruiser, but still a battlecruiser.

    EDIT: But to reiterate, I definitely want to see a T6 Kamarag (same as a T6 K't'inga even), but right now, there are higher priorities for the KDF than other battlecruisers. And I believe there may be a T6 Vor'cha coming relatively soon. Heck maybe a T6 Bortas/BortasQu' as well.

    Yup. Needs the sci stuff you mention. They could seriously kill two birds with one stone by releasing this as a true sci as you say and making it look a bit more like the K'tinga, widen the hull, and KDF folks would go bonkers.

    I don't dispute those items but changing the cruiser commands, the ENG CDR BOFF slot, and the mastery passives into the typical cookie-cutter SCI ship items would kill all the good things about this ship. Yes, it could really use a SCI CDR BOFF seat (or a hybrid SCI/TRIBBLE or universal, secondary deflector and sensor analysis but it wouldn't be critical if it didn't get them (well except maybe the CDR SCI seat). We Klingons get so few new ships and to ask and wait for yet another cookie-cutter battlecruiser like the Vor'cha or Bortas would be such a waste when we have so few good ships with a science focus.

    ...And please- a carrier is NOT a science ship no matter how hard the game wants it to be.

    I'd love if they retrofit the K'Tanco into a Science Vessel, that thing has a Massive body and Deflector, could even serve as a Vesta knockoff. 3/3 with DHC, a cloak, a single Hanger, and a secondary Deflector. Update the K'tanco like the B'rel to modern design styles.

    That or a T6 Dyson Destroyer with th fixed weapon in Destroyer mode be Protonic Disruptors, and purchase of ships allows purchase of Protonic Disruptors, like the Kumari and Andorian Phasers.

    Do that for the Romulans but with Protonic Plasma.

    Changing a ship this much or hybridizing it is something I hate. I already don't like them adding hangar bays left and right to existing ship classes. If they were to make a T6 Kamarag, I still would want it to be a battlecruiser (with considerable sci leaning, but without sci specific bonuses). I'd rather they make a similar ship that's flat out a science ship. I might even be fine with taht science ship capable of using Kamarag's costume parts.

    (Don't ask me about how Command cruisers are effectively Flight deck cruisers that somehow got the battlecruiser mastery passives instead. Or the whole DSD bundle nonsense. Or how the Qa'tel Flight-deck raptor somehow got FED escort like hull and shields instead of Raptor ones. Or how raptors overall have inconsistent shield mods. Or how KDF Pilot ships were chosen to be raptors instead of far more sensible BoPs.)

    I probably wouldn't mind to see this ship go T6 just so long as there is either a K'tinga Variant Model to go with it or the K'tinga T6 as a Separate Ship all together. . Maybe a Package Deal? Many of us K'tinga/D7 Fans are still running the fleet versions and would like to see a T6 version in the Future.
