BOFF Abilities

I have been away a long time and currently redoing all my boffs on all my chars and have a question that might seem dumb to some. Boffs with special traits like +to perception, warp core bonus....etc..Do they stack and more importantly are they only active if that boff is assigned a seat or are they effective on active roster? I have searched and asked in game and can never get a solid answer so any info would be greatly appreciated. I seem to remember this discussion back in beta but I guess old age is catching up lol.

    They're only active if that Boff's in one of your ship's stations. Most stack, the ones that don't (like Subterfuge) will say so in the description.

    Thank you, that's what I was thinking but it was fuzzy after the long hiatus.
