Why are these Klingon uniforms and hairstyles not in the game?

Star Trek The Motion Picture was the first appearance of the new Klingon look. Why is this not in STO? It seems to me that the overall appearance of the shoulder pads in STO is wrong. I think the female Klingons have a better option than the males in regards to this type of texture and look. As far as the hairstyle, it just doesn't exist. Maybe for the Klingons, this would be considered a "high and tight" and therefore ultra military.

You don't need to give any examples. Zero canon uniforms or hairstyles for the KDF are ingame. Zero.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

I don't think those ridges are in game either... they look more interesting than some that are available.

I think we'd have better luck requesting and getting a playable K'Vort than we do having canon Klingon uniforms.

I would like to have the Worf hair as he had it in ST:TNG Redemption, or DS9 with the pony tail, as well as the hair just being loose without pony tails or dreadlocks, both straight as Worf once in a while let it loose, and as curly as Martok had. A pity hairstyles are so restricted. :|

Point is, it's not zero ;)

I'd like this to happen, I don't think its available atm. Though I think some NPCs have it?

Some NPCs have a similar uniform but it goes only to waist level and not as long as that canon uniform.

Anyways, if we can get those uniforms and accessories the Klingons have, that would be great.

I actually think we'd get canon klingon uniform and hair options ahead of a K'Vort.

    Look at it like this:

The last C-Store KDF uniform was the Klingon Academy outfit. The one nobody likes.

The last canon uniform added since STO's launch is: None.

The last canon uniform accessory added since STO's launch: None.

On the flip side, ships, when STO launched there was no B'Rel BOP. Only the Hegh'ta existed for endgame. We campaigned for it hard and we got the C-Store B'Rel for endgame use.

I know Cryptic's history with the K'Vort. But compared to what's happened between Klingon ships and Klingon uniforms, I'd say we got a stronger chance of a playable K'Vort than new, canon uniform items and accessories. Even if that chance is 1 in a million.
