All fleet ships from the shipyard, including the Fleet Support Cruiser Retrofit (Ambassador class), cost 4 fleet modules and 20000 fleet credits as well as a tier 1 to 5 shipyard.
If I missed any other tier 5 ships please let me know.
If you scan the name list, you missed out on quite a few. I mean:
Literally every ship that comes out of a Lockbox, whether it's the box's "grand prize" or the "consolation prize" ones like the mirror ships, can be found on the Exchange.
Also, every ship that ever comes out of some sort of "buy this and have a shot at a ship" promo, like the entire Jem'Hadar line, the Freighters, and the Annorax, are on the Exchange as well.
People can take most of the Lobi store ships, I say most because IIRC the "Event Dyson Science Destroyer" and maybe the "Advanced Obelisk Carrier" are Character-bound on purchase - and post them to the Exchange as well.
Costs may be "prohibitive" (I mean, you probably ain't gonna find a Temporal Sci, Recluse, Annorax, Freighter, etc. for under 100 mil EC) but they're out there...
I'd also take a moment to specify that there is a handful of "T5 Retrofits" that cost 200k FCs, Zero FSMs, but still use up a Fleet Ship Provision. These are listed as "Blank Retrofit", where Blank = the name of the T2 Science, T2 Escort, and all the T3 ships you can pick from with the appropriate "level up" token. Do note, there also exists the "Fleet blank Retrofit" versions of each of these ships, and they are typically priced at the 20k FC + FSM(s) + provision level. IIRC, owning both versions of these ships would generate individual ship cards for Admiralty...
And don't forget that the "event" Oddessy, in it's 9 console "glory", also can be picked up at your friendly (slightly higher tiered) Fleet Shipyard as well for the "low" cost of 200k FCs and the provision.
Heck, I might be missing something as well, but hopefully this "summary" helps people find ships they can pick up "on the cheap"...
Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

I should probably have said cheap t5 ships. I'm not about to go out and buy every lockbox ship for the admiralty system. It would cost tens if not hundreds of billions of EC.
Good to know about the Odyssey though. If you can get one with just FC IMO it's worth it for an admiralty ship. Do you know what tier shipyard you need for it?

This page of the Wiki reminds me that it needs a T5 Starbase Military (shipyard) level...
And on your first point, I'm wondering how long all the "Exchange" ships will "remain" cheap. Heck, for a short window right after they announced Admiralty the Mirror ships spiked to 6 mil EC per, and who knows what may happen when the system "goes live" and people are actually churning these ships through for alts, etc...
So, I wouldn't "count" on them remaining "reasonable", especially for the first week or two after Admiralty starts...

I expect they will spike shortly after the new season starts, but I think they will eventually come back down again. They are still a more common drop from lockboxes than the prize ships.
They are already more expensive than I have ever seen them. I used to have over 100 MU recon science vessels. I sold them all off a while back. I'm kicking myself for not hanging on to them. Who would have expected this to happen though?
Have they announced if admiralty ships will ever be given as rewards for missions completed? I know at one point Borticus hinted at "guest" ships, but has anybody gotten one while testing it out?

I think it would have been fun. I have a bunch of sets and gear in my bank that just collect dust anyway.
Alex 284 is right, though: if somebody found out that a Tetryon build with the whole Sol Set would give you an edge, there would be complaints about the grind. Lots of complaints.
Not spending a fortune on new ships or ship slots (or grinding until the servers are switched off) just to build up a TRIBBLE card collection lol.
Neither would I spend a single cent on a ship for this. But that doesn't mean I can't give it a try and see if I like it or its rewards compared to the time spent.

Realistically, what is a good number of ships to have? I think this it's all a ploy to make mirror ships worth something.
I'd say it depends on how you play the game. If you don't own any non reclaimable ships (lockbox ships, lobi ships, fleet or upgraded) then one ship at a time can easily be enough. With some of the newer changes, you might want to cling on to your T6 and fleet/t5u, so you don't have to grind them again if you want to change back.
If you like changing your playstyle on one toon, then the question is: how many do you want? As has been said, you don't need multiple ships.
Personally, I'd like to keep my flight history, so all the ships I really used for a while (as opposed to just grinding the trait out of them) stay in the list. Even if I decided they were horrible.

Also don't forget you will need ship slots! Luckily you can buy those as well.

You dont need any Extra ship slots at all... zen store ships are account wide unlocks... you can claim to get the card then discard ship and go on to the next one. Then if you want to use a ship... just reclaim.
Before Season 11:
-Don't discharge ANY ship that you can't immediately reclaim for free between now and Season 11
-Save all boxed ships that you can't immediately reclaim for free between now and Season 11
-If you do not have a Kamarang or Support Cruiser either commissioned or boxed, do the mission "Temporal Ambassador" and save the ship box
-Stock up on lockbox/lobi ships
-Make sure you have at least 1 ship slot on each character
-Recognize that each ship type(besides T5-Upgraded status) has a different representative Admiralty card within the Admiralty system(ex. having both "Exploration Cruiser" and "Exploration Cruiser Retrofit" will give you two separate Admiralty cards)
During Season 11:
-Claim/discharge all C-store ships for their Admiralty cards(Romulans! Don't forget your allied factions' tiers 1-4 ships!)*
-Claim/discharge all event ships for their Admiralty cards*
-(1,000-day Veterans) Claim/discharge BOTH Vet Destroyers for their Admiralty cards*
-(Federation or Fed-allied RRF Steam pack owners) Claim BOTH Steamrunner variants for their Admiralty cards(or just the T1 if you're Romulan)*
-Open all ship boxes that you have stored away that you don't plan on selling
-Repeat all of the above for each character
-All of the above apply even if you have a different version of the ship already commissioned
* Open the Admiralty UI BEFORE discharging to verify the card generated.
I won't be spending any money for it either, though I have already started the reclaiming process for things I already have easy access to. I'm going to be weak in the Tactical area on most of my toons but oh well.

Best thing to prepare is to be nowhere near a Ship Selector for a day or two and work Admirality with whatever you have because the ship selectors are gonna be bonkers and their zones laggy.

See you in your very own Suliban Cellship with its own ship selector. I believe Tufflis offer the same service.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

Some fleet holdings have them too. And also ship requisition officer for claiming ships.
I went looking on my T4 starbase and did not see a single Fleet ship that cost 200000 only without a fleet module. What specifically are the ship names I should be looking for, AND what conditions are required for me to even see that option in the first place, such as:
Starbase tier?
Any prior C-Store unlocks required?
Thank you!

go to a ship vendor and tell it to show you the list of T5 ships. there's a few in there that are upgrades of ships that don't have T5 z-store models. These are not really all that good since they're T5 and though they have fleet variants those are impossible to get a discount on.
Thanks for the list. So only T5 shipyards offer those cheap ships? Also, is any prior C-Store purchase required to obtain them?

None that i'm aware of. They are just cheaper versions of the fleet level ships, limited to 9 consoles etc. They probably would be worthless if it wasn't for the Admiralty system now pushing people to look for ships.
Event though they only cost FC's they are still pretty costly if you are saving those credits for equipment. Plus I know getting FC's in some fleets is hard as there's not enough fleet projects to earn them on and they fill up fast.

Maybe
These came out of admiralty missions though.
My character Tsin'xing
Me neither, if they wanted to add a card game to sto they should have gave us poker.

But is it wrong that I'm more excited about the confirmation that my T6 Tactical Escort ie T6 Defiant is on the way?
Also don't forget you will need ship slots! Luckily you can buy those as well.

This is good Info should be a Sticky
Not going out of my way to collect or reclaim any ships I don't already have available or wasn't planning to get...
Not going to try to juggle Admiralty for all of my characters...
Not spending any money just to play the Admiralty...
Unless somebody can give me a really good reason why I should bother.

Science Vessel Retorfit = 200,000FC
Escort Retrofit = 200,000FC
Aquarius Destroyer = 200,000FC
Odyssey Star Cruiser = 200,000FC
That's all the fleet ships that only cost FC's on the Fed side.
Obelisk Carrier is 20,000FC and 2 FSM's
I think that is all of the "cheap" ships that are availible for T5.
