The Empire has set up portal generators that need to be shut down, power collecting stations that must be deactivated, and forward bases with metaphasic shielding that must be destroyed.
Engineer/Science/Tactical focused submissions like in the incursions?
Yes please; in fact, bring them back into missions, too ('Second Wave' and 'Mine Enemy' come to mind).
I'm certainly looking forward to it. I only worry about the lag like in some delta patrols with stars and junk in complex backgrounds and the undine planet killer area lag. Please no repeat of those.
And it puzzles me that whatever is causing this problem in said areas doesn't seem to have been identified, let alone solved.
Now, folks are wondering how this BZ rewards inducers. I would imagine that you get those from the higher-end events (i.e. dealing with the starbases and Leeta's task force). Now, I do wonder how big these 'starbases' are.. they're obviously bigger than the metaphasically-shielded outposts, but surely not as big as DS9/Terok Nor or the likes of SB24...
I'm not impressed with this Rep at all. Ques or face a possible lag fest in a battle zone. I was wanting a space version similar to the Dyson. Where I can solo some missions. In there I had several I could choose from and do.
I will pass on this Rep. Due to lack of options to gain marks for it. Good news is I will use that time to work on Alts and get them caught up.

In the Terran rep blog it was said that the elite marks for the rep could be earned in the new BZ.
Terran Gravimetric Inducers can be earned by participating in the Advanced and Elite versions of queues which reward Terran marks, as well as completing events within the Badlands Battlezone.
However in this blog, it just states that we get the rep marks and not the Inducers. Was this just overlooked/not mentioned in this blog or did plans change?
Worst case, you can now use the Rep project to convert marks to Inducers. Hopefully that's not going to be the sole non-STF method to do get Inducers though.

Unfortunately, it's most likely to be the sole non-STF method.
I'm merely hoping the Mirror Incursion event STF to be re-released during Season 11 and to grant Terran marks and inducers.
Also, Mirror!Leeta as the final boss of the BZ? Chase Masterson must have been enjoying chewing the scenery during the voice recordings.
ugh. Queues and a space battlezone, both content things I avoid playing as I dislike them with a passion. Last nights experience in the Undine space battlezone just reinforced that for me. Massive DPS machines cutting down everything in short order which meant, despite having contributed to capturing points etc, I got next to squat at the end.
Well I could be into this maybe if the T6 defiant and T6 bop(s) come out. Although I do understand why its taken so long with bops because of what we KDF would expect out of a next gen bop As well though I'm glad we have that T6 negh'tev/var with all those different costumes.
The Terran Empire, flush from victory over the Iconians in the Mirror Universe, is using technology from the future to open portals into the Badlands and stage an invasion of our universe!
Maybe the blog itself can mention that this battle zone will be introduced with season 11.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Anticipating the introduction of 4k zen tier 7 ships that'll make T6 and T5U ships mere cannon fodder. Is it time to offer a T4 (not endgame but better than T1) Connie for those who invested in the TOS package yet?
What is that up there headed my way? A bird? A plane? T'Ket?
However, the Terran ships now have a different design with red lines, instead of the khaki/yellow ones from ENT we have right now.
And to this day, I still think they have no excuse for not letting folks change the color of these accents.
Agreed; if nothing else, they could have given us the option of the old purple Mirror skins as an alternate 'Mirror Beta' option for our Mirror ships. I always thought that it had a nice look to it; the darker hull and purple details gave it a nice menacing appearance rather than the 'somebody graffiti'd the hull' look of the yellow stripes...

Is ANYONE going to ask about the Events? I will then. are we going to get another Mirror Incursion? what about the people who have a partially/nearly finished Event Reputation project for say, Mirror Hakeev, or the Cochrane Shotgun? I haven't been able to find any details on this, and I've been looking since the last Event ended a year ago. I hope they give folks a way to get that stuff like they did for the Summer Event.

I doubt there ever will be another Mirror Universe Event given the new Mirror Queue's first part basically is the Mirror Event (closing portals, saving the station).

Yeah. The dev blog makes no mention of it and gives the impression that this new battlezone is already live. I've been seeing players in the alpha quadrant and DS9 zone chat asking how to enter the new battlezone. Some are even saying they got their info from the website and this dev blog. I've been having to explain to people it isn't live yet and will come with season 11.
Edit: They may be seeing the info in the Arc client and on the STO launcher, so they aren't seeing this forum thread here where Trendy said in the OP that it's coming with season 11.
The last two battlezones both had what amounted to the same three objectives: 'defend area for x time while dodging some hazard', 'activate/deactivate x objects each with three interact stages' and 'get x object from a to b activating consoles at intervals while the enemy tries to push it back'; followed by 'slay three big bads within the time limit'. I really hope the objectives have a little more creativity this time, but from the pictures it looks very familiar... However, it should hopefully be quick to get your daily marks same as the others too.
On the plus side, I'm hoping the new queues are interesting (especially the ground one - it would be good to see something that requires the coordination of the old Borg ground STFs and poses the challenge they once did; Brotherhood of the Sword was a step in the right direction, but could go further). I also like the look of some of the new rep traits, the medic module and the ground set.
i asked this on the tribble forums never got aresponse so i thought i would try here is the new battlezone gonna get tested on tribble before it goes live
Would it be possible to edit the main announcement page to say when this new content will be available for play?
I went to the Badlands with a level 60 FED character and was not able to play the new content. I wouldn't have done that if the original announcement page explained that the new content will be coming as part of season 11, for example.

Unless i am mistaken the previous battlezones were not tested on tribble either so i doubt the badlands battle zone will be tested on tribble.

From the description, I get the feeling that we are pretty much getting undine space battlezone just in badlands clothing... I seriously hope that it is going to be more different than just replacing annoying undine goo rifts with annoying badlands vortices...
Can you please stop phrasing these news announcements as if these things are available ingame already?

I'm with jaren on this one. Getting really tired of looking at the 13/14 for the last MI - I'd really like that shotgun and the extra dil certainly wouldn't hurt.

IIRC, they've won the Iconian War by getting their hands on technology from the future.
>> soooo are we going to see some new Mirror ship designs? Hybrid ships of some kind??
