Email from Arc: Real or Fake?

I do not where to post this question, please move to the appropriate subforum if needed. I received an email claiming to be from Perfect World, not sure if it is real or not:

Subject: Major Outage Notification - October 13th

From: Arc @ perfectworld. com

This email is to notify you that all of our PC games and the Arc platform will be offline for an extended period of time on October 13th, 2015 in order to implement critical network improvements. We estimate that the downtime will be between 6AM PDT to 7PM PDT.

    so if your planning on skipping work/school to play videogames all day....dont do it on that day!

    Glad to hear that it is authentic. I'm so sorry that I was doing things in real life when it was posted last night and not checking the forums every couple of hours, shame on me.

    it's at the top of the page, an announcement from Trendy... a quick glance to see if it was discussed at all would have revealed it. No need to be snarky, just actually look rather than making copies of posts already being discussed.

    I will be as snarky as I want to be until my third cup of coffee. :smile:

    I used my phone to look in the announcements first, but it didn't show up on that browser; so I went to my computer and posted from there.
