Iconian Trophies

Given our recent survival of the Iconian war and those amazing Herald weapons we have caused to clatter about the ground, and given our victory over an actual Iconian, would you please create a trophy for both our captains ready room and crew galley. Because, hey, trophies are fun. One of those herald sticks will look great in a mount on my desk.

Yes please, I have a couple of captured bat'leths on my ready room wall and 2 more captured bat'leths in the mess hall as well as 2 captured Jem Hadar pole weapons mounted on that same wall.

We need more trophies so we can decorate our ship interiors as we want

"The meaning of victory is not to merely defeat your enemy but to destroy him, to completely eradicate him from living memory, to leave no remnant of his endeavours, to crush utterly his achievement and remove from all record his every trace of existence. From that defeat no enemy can ever recover. That is the meaning of victory."

Considering most ship interiors don't even have trophy space...why bother?

Only the special interiors like the Andorian escort or the Dyson sphere science destroyer. Theo standard ships all have space for such trophies. Well, except the Romulan's that is. It would be nice if we could use our ship interiors more though. I think that it adds to the immersion of the game. Like Skyrim, you could design the ship interior to hold trophies, armor stands, weapon displays, etc. That was a huge aspect of that game.

Cryptic could take a lesson from that and expand the interior ship content and make money doing it. Selling features, design themes, and other things. The studio would make a profit and the players would enjoy their ships more. It's a win, win. If RPG's have proven anything, most players like to collect.

Very much so. Cryptic made some money in other games by developing interiors of customizable lairs.

      Wait !!! What !!??!!

Do you mean these pixelaited ships I've been flying for 5 years actually have an "interior" ?? A "Bridge" even ??!!?? A "Trophy" room to hang more useless junk ??

      :O)

Actually, yes, I know they all have interiors.. However, Since I rolled my first Romulan toon and could NOT complete that one silly mission to "Place the Trophy" in the Crew lounge; I haven't looked back, nor have gone to my Bridge more than once or twice.

IMHO, I play to fly and fight in space or Away Missions.. not hang out in a chair on the bridge. Personally, save the programming and graphics used for "interiors" and put the effort in CONTENT and fixing the stuff that's broke..

But hey.. that's just my opinion !!!

TYVM.. Have fun.. Be nice to each other... :O)

Oh, I don't spend a great deal of time in my interiors either. If I am in space I might go inside to transfer items from my account bank between toons; access special duty officer missions, craft, or switch ships. I do use the interior of my Tufflis, Cell Ships or Ferengi ships to access banks, exchange and such. This is mostlying to save time in map changes and transwarp use. But regardless, while in my bridge map I would prefer suitable decor and reminders of my excellence as a Fleet Admiral.
