Advanced Radiant Hypercharge "Critical's"

I don not claim to have the best build and I certainly do not chase scores, but I have been having some really nice critical's with this three piece bonus ability "Advanced Radiant Hypercharge."

Are you using this?
Have you been experiencing this?
What are your thoughts?

I personally have found this effective, especially against big bosses.

    I often use auto fire, particularly with cannons. Because of this I find that the weapon fails to fire more often than not, so while it is indeed very effective it so rarely works that I don't bother with it at all.

    Plasma/Phaser lances from the Fahet and Phantom used to post numbers ranging from 60-150k depending on the toon and build. Combined with un-nerfed Surgical Strikes, it was easy to vape Tactical Cubes. But still, I find clicky things not worth slotting over passive enhancements.

    That would probably be the sound my ship makes whenever the firing cool down resets when I try to use this ability.

    I have it. With a 5 tac console ship running APA, APO and tac team 1 it pulled a 540.000 critical against the ISA tac cube. Could have been more, since the ship runs only 3 exploiter consoles.

    Its a great finisher.

    Honestly, I prefer passives too... much less to worry about. Like many here, I like to experiment with gear and have found this one useful. Especially in Gateway to Grethor.

    I think its cooldown should be dropped to 1 minute as the damage roll seems highly variable.
