Come on, we know you would love to. You just don't have the time to do it.
But you know, it makes me wonder how popular an Online Starfleet Museum would be, if someone went through the trouble to create a program where people could actually visit ships seen in Star Trek and fully flesh them out?
I could even see the benefit of backgrounds actually being used in some fan productions and saving time having in creating them.

And that is not Ten Forward but the rest is amazing.
No, it's "Two" forward.
I have some issues with the layout and some details, but it's still a pretty amazing job.
That said, I have no desire to model out 42 decks of Starship.
How about modelling out the interior of the Ent J? A ground battlezone/adventure zone eh? 3.2 Km of fun .
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

I'm already working on modeling out over 9000 decks of starship across 4 ships. Perhaps community authored interiors could be arranged assuming they're at current sto quality standards? [which actually our use of uvw mapping for interiors is usually better than yours, our polycount lower, and our detail ratio higher compared to the recent voyager bridge]
The 3 Seashells is a reference to the Demolition Man Movie starring Sylvester Stallone. In it, he's put in cryostasis for like 30 years, and he thaws out in a highly advanced futuristic utopia. one of the gags is that the got rid of toilet paper in place of 3 seashells on a little shelf, and people giggle at him for not knowing what the 3 seashells do.
It's generally assumed that they're part of a built-in bidet though they were originally meant to be impossible to guess.
Conveniently, our ships featured this same thing a year ago... funny that others had it too.
It's impressive, and as a stand alone program to just wander around and look in all the nooks and crannies, as a fan, I think it's great, but for anything to do with this game, what would be the point? If there were an entire mission chain that takes place in the interior of a Galaxy class ship, hell it would be an entire game, then I could see this kind of detail, but just for a vanity interior that one person and few others will see, no this is way over the top. Things like Hangers, maybe a cargo bay, a few more bridges and some place for trophies and stuff for the Romulans, even a holodeck, that I can see, something like this though is a completely different endeavor.
If something is not broken, don't fix it, if it is broken, don't leave it broken.

i thought the "lol" might have gave it away. Demolition Man is one of my favorite bad flicks.
From my perspective I feel it is a great work. The fact someone took the time to actually do it is short of amazing. I have been with the game from the very beginning and I have never written on any forum but I felt now is the time to hopefully express a wish for a much needed addition to the Star Trek Online gameplay. There is a reason in game you see many folks flying around certain traditional types of ships because of the purest in them or unique ones for the fun. I feel Cryptic or who ever makes the decisions keeps bringing out new ships of the month as a quick money grab. I have liked the Odyssey and some of the others but the complete new ship every time we turn around is a bit annoying IMO. I would rather spend my money on interiors. The Voyager, Defiant, and original Enterprise interiors and the like are nothing short of amazing and are well loved. The Romulans have a great interior but only one. What about a time ship one or Breen ship or any of the other factions. If the time spent on making new ships was put on an interior I feel it would only enhance the gameplay and suspending of reality for the player to be swept away in the game. In Mass Effect the Normandy and Normandy II was a living breathing part of your crew and you could explore it and be apart of what went on. I've been on the Defiant and Voyager interior and loved them. I've purchased them as well even though I tend to fly the Command cruiser. Please take a look at doing this. I have several programmer friends in the business and they all have expressed for the amount of time coming up with a new ship and design, it can be put toward interiors instead to better enhance the game play and enjoyment. You could package them or sell them for 2500-3000 a set or a piece and I have no doubt they would do very well. Just a thought but the idea of having a more realistic inside ship for my enjoyment and exploring would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read my post and keep up the great work.

Bad is subjective. It's an action movie. It's hard to do better than Stallone, Swartzenegger, or Willis.
The Family Guy Mobile game had a Star Trek Event that gave you a 'customizable' Enterprise. It was one deck with a bunch of empty rooms. You just tapped on the empty room to set what it was.
I imagined that STO could do something like that. Give us a simple overhead 'map view' of one deck that we can customize with prebuilt rooms (ie Engineering, Ten Forward, SickBay.) Then, once you set it, you return to normal perspective and walk through it. And as an incentive to PWE, they can make premium rooms (or extra decks) that you can purchase with Zen (Like Voyager Astrometrics, battle damaged Engineering, or partially assimilated cargo bay.)
The argument is they don't make interiors because people don't buy them. And we aren't buying Interiors because they really aren't that good, and that's being polite. It's a catch 22. Short of starting a kickstarter campaign to give them money for the express purpose of making interiors, the only way to convince them we really will pay for new interiors is buy the existing interiors, even if most of them are TRIBBLE, and even then there are no guarantees that they will give people what they want, rather than just pocketing the money then trying to herd everyone towards things they aren't interested in, like more of these ship designs that don't belong in Star Trek.
If something is not broken, don't fix it, if it is broken, don't leave it broken.

Hope they add Cetacean Ops.
Is that a window, or a giant fishtank?
Either way, I want one.

Apparently I created another thread with the same video.
Anyway, does anyone remember seeing the ENT-D they tried to create over on Minecraft?
They got allot of it done, not sure what happened to the guy who started the project. Still the vids of it are amazing.
