Kemo will likely be a big chunk of the dps ...but a decent dps can be achieved with rep traits like radiant detonation matrix, omega graviton, nukara offence and so on - it won't be as good as Kemocite (after all, its a lockbox toy), but if I can get 11k out of an lt tac seated samsar, you'll have more than enough 'pew' for anything the game can throw at you with a higher tac seated ship (except korfez, of course)
New day, new changes - moved the samsar build to the science command ship - enough space for an apbeta now, the 'Skittle Spitter' now is hitting the dizzying heights of 15k (memo to self - buy better hangar pets than the default to'duj fighters)
I love the concept of turret-only builds, but... does Kemocite play a huge factor in that DPS? It's not financially viable for many.
Took out Kemo, and the one embassy console (replaced with Tachy console), still hit 27.8k DPS
Then reloaded Kemo and the embassy console, and hit 33.1k DPS
(all this and I'm an awful pilot, not taking flanking and target distance into account and not using keybinds)
So I can only imagine the obscene DPS someone like STOryan or sarcasm/odenknight could achieve.
I'd wager they can take this build to 75k+ EASY.
And I challenge one of them to take up this build, and impress our socks off.
PS: I'm actually enjoying space combat more then I have in a long time.

I have an old intrepid refit (not retrofit but refit) fitted with fleet phaser single cannons and turrets.
It was strictly a purchase for testing and i KNOW it is somehow wrong to use cannons on a science ship, but it's just so visually pleasing and wrong that it becomes a pleasure to fly.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

I had a similar setup on my retro Nebula, single cannon "phased polaron's" up front and 3 phased polaron turrets on the rear. But that was way back, when Phased Polarons were new...think that was when they released the temporal lockbox.
It's funny too, I think I've had at least a few players do double takes;
"Nandi not spraying bfaw everywhere !?.....what's going on here.... has the world gone mad ?"

Agreed..and single cannon for that matter (but shh! tell too many and the uber cheap lockbox singles will be jacked up in price!)

I'll take out the Kemo 1, and the embassy explosion console tonight, and see how it does.
(Those are the biggest "cheater" items on the build).
Ill make a guess that it should still surpass 20k. But we'll find out tonight.
Will post again tomorrow, for comparison sake.
