Good Job Cryptic, credit where credit is due.

I have to hand it to these guys, they have tackled a disgruntled player and his DDoS attack, a server connection disaster, a whole host of bugs and glitches and they still manage to give us new content and improve old content regularly.

There are times we all like to bash on these guys, but when it comes right down to it, they are doing really good job. Got to give them credit where credit is due.

    is the game back up?

Edit: Ok I guess it is....so, yay cryptic.

On a serious note, they are doing better than they were 12 months ago. I'll give them that.

It is for me. I just finished the Borg red alert that I could not get into prior to losing my connection.

    Great job indeed
One day Cryptic will be free from their Perfect World overlord. Until that day comes, they will continue to pamper the whales of this game, and ignore everyone that isn't a whale.

They are far from doing any good from my perspective.
I need to get to him. I can't just leave him out there alone. - Sometimes you've got to makes sacrifices, Lara. You can't save everyone. - I know about sacrifices. - No, you know about loss. Sacrifice is a choice you make. Loss is a choice made for you. - I can't choose to let him die, Roth.

Still better than the month long response it took microsoft to fix the xbox live takedown or the fact that sony FAILED to secure customer data.

Far from doing ANY good? I get it that many people are somewhat unhappy with certain aspects and voice their opinions on the forums because they still like the basic game. But if there really is nothing, not as single thing, good here... you'd better go.

So you're applauding the fact that Cryptic's development team delegates tasks out, that they may be accomplished simultaneously? You're impressed that environmental artists aren't also network technicians and quality assurance?

You do realize virtually every development team there is operates this way, right? There's nothing exceptional happening here.

Cryptic may not be perfect. And while they do drop the ball I feel alot more then stepping up... Cryptic at least is trying. And when servers are stable to log in and enjoy the game. Then sto's fun. For me this is enough. We could have far worse companies handling the game. So I'll cut them a tiny bit of slack. Season 11 does look interesting while also not so much in others ( admirality system) . So take it with a grain of salt and play on.
