Fleet Management question: Logs?

darleathdarleath Member Posts: 50 Arc User
Hello!
I was wondering if there is a way to check the logs of the fleet project scheduling, to know who schedules what.
Because the Vault Log is useful, but the ctivity log, which spams data about recruiting and promoting boffs, is quite useless...

Thank you!

Sigh... Ok, thanks. I suppose I will have to be on alert to see who is ninja-scheduling certain special projects for the sole purpose of dumping marks...

The only way you could possibly guess is to check the Roster. It shows when last a toon was on. Provided you were on before the project got queued, you can shorten your list down. However, you may want to think about restricting Project queuing to only a small handful or just the top rank. In my fleet, I'm the only person who holds the top rank, and the only person who can queue (this was on agreement due to being a veteran and my friends being completely new to the game at the time).
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

Yeah, I really don't know what the point of all the useless spam in the fleet logs is. "X was promoted to <NO INFORMATION>", "X mongled own boff", X received 5 different ships of meaningless name (none of which were fleet ships), why is this information of any use whatsoever to the fleet? Is there really any use whatsoever in knowing exactly who is stripping consoles from C-Store ships or who is adding boffs? Not to mention some of this is frankly rather intrusive and nosy, and ALL of it is useless. If it contained actual, meaningful information about the ongoings of fleet assets and resources, that would be useful. Why are we instead spammed with useless nonsense like this?

Yeah it looks kinda silly, those messages that say that someone was promoted and then leave out the details that are most interesting. Basically it's non-information, all you know after reading it, is that some people have been actively doing missions or Doffing.

I agree with the other posters here, the only useful information in the activity log is the 'joined fleet' and 'left fleet' messages.

To answer the OP: if you have two or three active leaders in your fleet that you can trust, or if you have one leader who's online often enough, there is really no need to give anyone else project queuing rights.

I'm not the Fleet admiral, just one officer. And the boss hasn't logged since a long time ago and have the mail full, so...
