Ok i Dont know about anyone else but i am starting to get bored of this system wjere we dont get any major stuff to test on little things i used to enjoy the old system that was whenever something new was coming out we would get access to it early so we could test it now all we get are the odd new STF and maybe new stuff once in a while can someone pls tell me what the point of tribble and redshirt is now pls as all the new missions are getting sent straight to holodeck

With the exception of the Tribble testing leading up to the release of the Legacy of Romulus expansion (which was also only fully available to a select few); they have NEVER put new story missions on Tribble (or Redshirt) prior to their release on Holodeck. Tribble has always just gotten the PvE/PvP queued events, patrol missions, and new functions or STO game features to test. They used to have 'Tribble Test Weekends' just before a new Update was pushed (an attempt at server load testing); but once the metrics showed that C-Store and Zen sales on the Live server dropped significantly on those weekends, PWE put a stop to it,

Generally, today, Tribble is just a more open live test environment so they can make sure they don't release code that would crash the Live server every few minutes

i understand that but all i was meaning was i would like to see new stuff as i am not seeing that many ppl queuing now for counterpoint so it is getting hard to test stuff
