it is a bit missleading , one can understand that he can chose between the lobi and ship , not that he has the chance to win one of the two items , and the ship has slightly less chances than lobi.
I don't know what the misinterpretation is here, unless you want something to complain about again
If you are hella lucky enough to win a Jem'Hadar ship... the choice is between the Strike Ship or the Recon Ship
Not a choice between Lobi and a Jem ship... that would be a very very stupid choice... even if you don't want the Jem ship, 10 lobi versus a highly sought after and expensive ship on the Exchange... c'mon son.
But there is no indication of the ship drop rates.
So it could be misleading to some.
Someone who doesn't know any better, may think they have a 50% chance at either the ship choice or Lobi.
The honest way to do this would be to give the player the odds up front.
Like so;
"When you purchase a Research and Development Pack from the C-Store and open it, you will receive either 10 Lobi Crystals (@99% drop rate) or a choice of either the Jem’Hadar Strike Ship or the Jem’Hadar Recon Ship (@1% drop rate) , in addition to the Research and Development Pack."
Or something like this. ^
That's my only issue with it, but its not really an issue because I am familiar with promo odds.
But a new player may not know better, and drop 10 bucks thinking a ship is coming his way.
Furthermore, there is a link that says "Details", which doesn't mention anything about the ship drop odds.
IMO, that information should be given to the player straight out of the gate. Not hidden away somewhere in the fine print.
We had this kind of thread with the Sheshar and now, we have it with the Bugship, just as expected.
Anyone with common sense and knowledge of how lockboxes and promotion packs (and basic reading skills, above all) knows the obvious.
Yeah...I mean come on...what do people think these things are for? Bankroll...and you know how much of that they would get if everyone could simply just purchase one and get the ship? Almost absolute zero...people could buy one pack with their stipend and be done.
Common sense, so rare it's a super power. (Rings true every day!)
Can't have a honest conversation because of a white knight with power
