A little help

Hi guys,

A while back i purchased some slots for the foundry with the intention of maybe making some missions. So today I had a little look, but i seem to have almost immediatley come to a grinding halt.

After opening the foundry and clicking on new project I get a message that says "waiting for editing server and patching foundry updates"..........and then absolutly nothing happens, and I can't do anything at all.

Is this normal, and how long does this patching usually take? (I waited somethingike 30 mins before i lost patience with it)

For me that usually lasts just a minute or two. The fact that you haven't been in the editor for a long time may have something to do with it (i.e. it may have a lot of catch-up patching to do).

I'd recommend that you disable on-demand patching in the launcher.... this will probably require several hours of patching. But it will prevent the game from patching within the Foundry.

I hadn't thought about that, maybe I'll just let it have its way and go away and do something else while it does its thing.

    Thanks for the posts guys

Well... My suggestion has 2 reasons for it actually. 1 is the annoyance of having to wait for it to patch inside the foundry, 2 is the greater annoyance of having it crash while doing so.... and it does. Also.... if you leave it sit, it will eventually automatically log you out.... while it's patching.
