Old Player coming back!

Hi, I had started playing STO way back.. had a 14 lvl toon. Now i want to restart this game but i have totally forgotten the way this game works so am planning to start from scratch. I intend to go gold member now. Am hopefully looking for a fleet/guild to maybe help me work my way back into this game if possible! I love to play these games as a team solo play is not my style. So if anyone can help me out that would be great!! i plan to go federation! So which race should i make?? also is lifetime member better? or should i spend 300$ buying Zen cause that gives you about 34k Zen!! Looking forward to your valuable feedback!

Solo play has it's advantages... Quicker marks, nice loot and NO drama time whatosoever, no spammers, "MINE IS BETTER! attitude, political epeens and other horror stories I care not to tell. Personally I dislike fleets as much as general chat in Sol System for said reasons; but sometimes you can find a nice fleet or individual to go along with.

Should consider solo-ing until 60 to test it and a week or two in the PVE queue. If you are aiming to "elite" PVE or PVP definitely go with a fleet but take care, you never know what you might find.
