Question about Efficiency

Hello, I am an old pre-order player returning to the game, and having lots of fun with the new stuff. However, I still have a question that I never got an answer to years ago, concerning the Efficient trait on bridge officers (like the borg and saurians). Do they stack? Would it be beneficial to have more than one Efficient bridge officer? Also, I have the same question for Leadership and Romulan Operative as well. Are there any stacking benefits?

Yes, they stack. However, there's a large possibility that a few of them (efficiency being the "worst" offender) are affected by the "diminishing returns" stuff and/or have been "replaced" with "more useful" stuff...

I'd say the best example are the Romulans, between Superior Romulan Operative and the other Romulan trait, the bonuses to damage from coming out of cloak are so dang high that who cares if you're running 100/15/15/15, all but the most elite of targets will be vaped by that initial volley... Plasmonic leeches, singularity core power boosters (ie, you get +10 or +20 to certain subsystems when your singularity meter's at T5), singularity core power bonuses (5% or 10% of subsystem X's power number is added to subsystem Y), etc. etc. means that even without 4x or 5x efficient BOffs people are getting 3 or all 4 subsystems, even on the "power starved Rommies", up to 75s to trigger the [AMP] bonus...​​

Awesome, thanks for your input, I was always curious about that. I can deal with diminishing returns, its just good to know that all the investment in my bridge officer staff hasn't been a waste.

Efficient is based of settings, not actual level. It's a good trait to have, but generally Romulan Operative or Pirate are preferable.
